How to Participate:

The NetGalley Challenge is designed to not only get you to read your NetGalley books, but to also advertise your reviews for others to see because after all, that's what NetGalley is all about.

Though you may pop in/out at any time, the NetGalley Challenge will run on a monthly basis so you are able to see progress being made.


1. At the beginning of the month, post any/all of the following:
a: How many books on your NetGalley shelf
b: What books are on your NG shelf
c: What your Netgalley feedback ratio is

2. During the month, read the NetGalley books that you can AND update your post with your reviews. (You can do this after each book or wait until the end of the month.)

3. At the end of the month, update your post and with:
a: What books you read
b: Link(s) to your review(s)**
c: Your updated shelf count
d: Your updated books to read
e: Your updated ratio

Then start a new post for the next month!

I admittedly have never read the first book but I watched her show on Netflix and loved it. My clothes are all folded her way and I have gotten rid of so much stuff I do not need because of her.

I added another book!! This is the fifth one this month, but I really couldn't help myself this time. Deadly Waters by Dot Hutchison is currently read now. Fortunately, it is the only May release I currently have.



I am back up to 13 books on my shelf, but only down to 93% so I guess that's not too bad.

I also added five this month and I'm trying really hard not to add Brave Girl, Quiet Girl, which is read now. I'm also interested in She Has A Broken Thing Where Her Heart Should Be, but it's 774 pages!! I think that's too long for a NetGalley book for me right now. I may end up buying the audio of that one.

I'm already behind with my January reads. 😑 I'm working on those now.

I finished The Other People which is publishing soon and I LOVED it. It was a horrifying premise about a father driving home from work and seeing his daughter being driven away in the back of a strangers car as she is calling out for him!
This is my favorite book by this author. I thought it was better than The Chalk Man and The Hiding Place.
A 5 star read for me!

I also got approved for The Night Swim.

Sooo I've added 14 books this month and one of them is over 800 pages. I just leave them sitting on my shelf un-downloaded, mocking me until I'm forced to download them February 1st. I feel completely overwhelmed. Is anyone else trigger happy like me?
