Oh gawd maybe i should make a list of books to read >_<
Ok, sorry I'm lost in this ever-changing thread! Did we come up with a start date for WoT or did I miss the announcement in the thread?
Oh okay thank you! Sorry about that

My library describes it as such: electronic audio, and the link says it's available to my library system via Overdrive. I don't know what that means, lol. If I do that, am I downloading a book to my computer or something? I could listen to it while I fold laundry and stuff. So, count this as a tentative "Yes", until further notice, hehe. I have a list of holiday books that I want to read so I will peruse it and list a few that might have wide appeal and see if anyone wants to read along in December.
RebeccaS wrote: "I can read Cinder any time in the next couple of months. Does anyone have a time in mind that works best for them?"For Cinder - I commented here but now that I'm deeper into the thread I see that my thoughts might have to change. If people want to start Cinder in order to get to Scarlet and then join the December 23rd BR of Cress, I am open to that, too. Maybe start Cinder in early December? I'm not sure how long the book is or how long it would take any of us to get into it.

Make a list. It's a life saver! I've just started a text file for my November and December reads, including which ones are for Buddy Reads, when the BR starts and who all might be joining me. If I didn't keep notes on this, I'd be lost.
Taryn wrote: "Ok, sorry I'm lost in this ever-changing thread! Did we come up with a start date for WoT or did I miss the announcement in the thread?"Do you feel like you are in a room where everyone is talking animatedly all at once? LOL! I know when I catch up with this thread, that's how I feel. That's why I keep making multiple post responses in a row -- if I try to remember everything and save it for one response I'll forget most everything I wanted to say, haha.

I'm still trying to catch up with my October reads. But, I will request a thread for us over in the Series Reads section!
I posted a request for a thread over in the Featured Series Reads.

Lol yes!! Sometimes I have no idea where in the conversation I stopped last time!

I just put all the buddy reads I want to join in my calendar and holy moly! There's a lot of great buddy reads coming up.By the way, if you ever need to know if/when a buddy read has been scheduled or what books people are looking for partners for, there is a nice little summary at the beginning of this thread. Just go to the first page.

Just a thought and I'm not 100% sure I'll be reading them, so you can ignore me. But how about Cinder starting 25 Nov and Scarlet 9th Dec. That give 2 weeks for each book before Cress starting 23 Dec. However as I said before I'm not guaranteed to read them, so those as you definitely reading may have a better idea.

While perusing the Buddy Reads that have already been done, I came across the one for
. I got a little under halfway through the book a few years ago but ran out of time to read it so I returned it and have not gotten around to picking it back up. Well, lately I have really wanted to read it again and finish it so I'm thinking a buddy read just might be the inspiration I need to get it done.Any interest? We can wait until December or even January if you'd like.
I wonder how long TT3 is going to last... just how far in advance should we set up buddy reads? haha!

That is actually a pretty good plan. Hm... will wait to see what others say.

I would be able to read it late December or after, if you're still interested in a buddy read.

Kristie wrote: "We are planning to read the Unwind series as a buddy read, I think starting sometime near the beginning of November, if anyone would like to join us."Amanda recommended Unwind to me, I would like to undertake something different to read. I need to locate it so that I'll be ready to roll. :)

I offered you up for a Brothers Karamazov read. LOL
Is it too late to ask if you're interested ;).
Also, the Mudbound they're talking about is the one I was telling you about earlier. Sounds like something you'd like.
I think I should simply stop coming here as I want to read all the books! *wails and then giggles* ;)@Teresa and Sarah - Can I join you guys for Mudbound in January? Just read the blurb yesterday and found it really interesting. Whenever you have it in January, I want to join *pretty please*:) :)
Sarah - January 2nd sounds fine to me.Srividya, of course you can join! :) The more the merrier, as they say!

✼Danielle wrote: "Yep, WoT Nov 21 and the thread for it is HERE"Wow, I've been thinking on start this series for some time now. So I'm in for this buddy read too. :D
For the Mods, I think this buddy read isn't listed on the scheduled buddy read message.

I too love The Night Circus. Don't think I'll read it again so soon, but would love to be part of the discussion and relive it again :D
OMG! I think I must stop visiting this thread. I seem to want in on every BR that you guys are scheduling. Even though I like reading at my own pace I think I'm gonna try jumping in discussions for several of these. I hope I don't end up overcommitting myself. Need to get out my calendar and schedule book appointments I think.
Hahah. Right now, I have so many I just want to read on my own / at my own pace, before the challenge that I'm not even looking ahead. After the challenge starts, however, I think Crime and Punishment, and The King's Curse are two long enough books that I don't need any other buddy reads to commit to on top of it ;)

thanks for keeping a list at the beginning of this thread. It makes thing so much easier,Teresa, I have Ready Player One currently on hold at the library. I am third in line so I should get it in 2x 21 days or less. When were you planning to read it?

I have on hold too, but I have time beginning of December. If you two have already read it maybe you could join in my discussion too even if you finished already - you know, discuss my input with me later.
Hey I just managed to get
is anyone interested in joining a BR, I'll have to read it in november as it is BOM in a Danish reading group.
Anita wrote: "Hey I just managed to get

It would be nice to read a large book that isn't to complex like Inhertiance or A Clash of Kings, which are some of the books I am currently reading for fun.
Great. I'm going to listen to it, since I got it on audible, so I hope it's a good narrator. I just finished Clash of Kings. That one took me 4 months to finish :/ not because it was boring or anything, I just had troubles fitting reading time in with it. I won't be reading onward on that series until the new year I think. With all the books I've got lined up already.

I am such a moody reader but there are so many books that I have been wanting to read that are going to be buddy reads so I figured maybe reading with others is the motivation I need to just get them read.
Haha @ scheduling book appointments! My calendar is not used for anything so I think using it for book appointments sounds like a good idea.
Juliana, Esther & Sarah (and anyone else who wants to join the buddy read for this)... Re:
- Assuming I am able to renew it one more time, I will have to read it by November 26th but if that doesn't work for you, I can just check it out again later. Esther, just let me know when your copy comes in and we can play it by ear after that.
