Quest 4:
Sometimes we have to take a moment and just reflect on the journey. For the next stop, we'll focus on some of the books that have already been completed.
Read 15 books related to books that your team has read so far in this read-a-thon. Books must be connected by the following ways:
- 5 books published in the same year
- 4 books with the same word in the title [excluding A, An, and The]
- 3 books with a similar cover [color, object, etc.]
- 2 books set in the same location or written by authors born in the same locations [country]
- 1 book by the same author
Read 3 books [or books by authors] that are mentioned in a read-a-thon game.
Hint: If you're having trouble, it may be a good idea for members of your group to play the read-a-thon games ;)
This should equal 18 total books for quest 4.

They can all be different. They just have to match a book already read.
Quest 1 Books = 2019, 2005, 2010, 2007, 2015
Those are all totally random numbers but hopefully illustrates the idea. They don’t have to be different though either.

Another question!
For books that are already completed, does this mean only quest 1, 2, and 3? i.e. once someone finishes a book in quest 4 is it also eligible as "already completed"?

I could also start a book by David Sedaris if no one else has a repeat author in mind.

Thanks that makes sense.

- 4 books with the same word in the title [excluding A, An, and The]
1."Love" Quest 3 [4. Family Life- [book:The Rainbow Comes and Goes: A Mother and Son On Life, Love, and Loss|26072609]~ Perri 9/11/19] Quest 4 Luck, Love & Lemon Pie ~Samantha 9/12/19

I'm crossing my fingers I'll get Britt-Marie Was Here from the library tomorrow (it's in transit), which would count for a book mentioned in the games.

Nope, I must have accidentally marked it. It takes place in
New Orleans, Louisiana so it could work for US or published in 2010.

I don't think she has posted about finishing it yet. I think that is going to be the hardest prompts to fill.

That would work for the word "Death" since we have Love and Death Among the Cheetahs~Sarah 9/8/19

I added it to the spreadsheet and marked it for "death".

The book I'm hoping to finish this weekend is The Shape of Night - the word of is in other titles, 2019 pub date, it has a body of water on the cover with land in the distance as does the cover for Ten, setting is US.

I added your book for the read-a-thon game since I think that is the hardest spot to fill.

Or we can use it in " 4 books with the same word in the title" it. It matches the "you" in "Where'd You go, Bernadette"
I just saw that Neil Gaiman is mentioned in the game "Day 4: 90s Kid Book Tag" I have a book of his I can listen to The View from the Cheap Seats: Selected Nonfiction and we could put it in for one the 3 books mentioned in a read-a-thon game. I is about 15 hrs long so it will take me today and tomorrow to do but I am sure i can get it done!

Sarah and Jillian - For now I put You Gotta Get Bigger Dreams: My Life in Stories and Pictures in the matching word category for "you" since I think it's a tougher category (though we've been prioritizing it, so it doesn't look so bad). Feel free to move if you see fit.

What do you think about similar cover to

I mean, it's different but two arms seems an odd thing to have on a cover.

ETA: none of these looks like a fast read. Maybe I’ll start on Prison Noir because it is shorter and see how it goes. It was published in 2014 and set in the US. The cover is in black and white and has a jail cell with a person:

Looking at my options, I think the best one to put it under may be Location, as part of the story takes place in Australia as well as the author was born and raised there before moving to the U.S. The only other option (I think) is using "book" as sharing a word in the title with "The Secret, Book and Scone Society".
Looking at the spreadsheet, I think I'm going to read a book mentioned in one of the read-a-thon game. I know I have Britt-Marie Was Here and Beartown on my bookshelf.
Edit: I'm going with The Nest, which is mentioned in the 90's kids book tag game. I actually have it out from the library right now!

For matching cover, I think most would work (superhero). I think Black Panther looks most like Superman Birthright or Batgirl with Superman Birthright (capes). Is Saga the same character as Saga Vol 1?

How is the Testaments so far? I'm on the library wait list (luckily I got on it super early so shouldn't have too much of a wait).

I am starting The Cage which has a very yellow cover like Good Me, Bad Me, but not sure when ill be finished.

2. 2010 Infinity ~Jillian 9/14/19
I have not added anymore of the book covers to post 2 since we have that prompt covered with current books being read.
I have just started Invincible/

The 2018 year published will be good since we still need 3 more books for that prompt.

I finished Sharp Objects, and like Traci had said it can work for the read-a-thon game prompt as Gillian Flynn was mentioned in the 90s Kid Book Tag.
For the two books I'm reading now I'm having a hard time finding a prompt that works. I'm reading Gyo today and should also have it finished by the end of the day. It is set in Japan as well as being written by a Japanese author. The cover is all black with a splash of red. I'm also reading Aesop's Illustrated Fables which is even more difficult to place... I might have to look at my shelves and see if I can find some other books that will work better
