I've just started Play Dead
I loved her prior book, Lost Girls
and I'm hoping this one is just as good.
Just finished All that we touch
Very weird. NOT A STAND alone which did much to detract from book.
And the story. .. actually an interesting one but see above. Can't be sure if writing was so so. ..
What if the new messiah has come and is a woman?
Badlands by C.J. Box which at 80% throuogh I am not enjoying as much as I have his previous books. It seems kind of flat to me.

For once, I'm not reading an ARC but thought I'd mention First Grave on the Right... I'm still reading it and have laughed a lot already.
MegalionI liked All that we touch
It made me feel stoned. :-p I didn't even realize it was part of a trilogy. I thought it was just me.
The Interminables
This is a very unusual and entertaining fantasy:
He awoke to Death. “Goddammit, Istvan!” The ghost ignored the pillow flung through his chest. “They’ve found it,” he cackled. He brandished bloody hands, his cuffs rolled up to his elbows, heedless of the exposed burn scarring on his left forearm. “They’ve found the beast!”
He turned – almost a pirouette, balanced by the shadow of wings – and skipped through the door. Bloodstains and bullet holes flickered across the wood, then faded.
The Hospital Always Wins: A Memoir
Memoir of mental illness. An early NG approval, may published, title that I dawdled on. .. cause newer titles are always more interesting.
Just starting. I've good hopes for it.
That Darkness by Lisa Black which I am blowing hot and cold on. It had an amazing first chapter, but really hasn't continued in the same vein.....It is not a bad book, but that first chapter is a hard act to follow.
Im reading
Sleepless in Manhattan / Midnight at Tiffany's Bonus by Sarah Morgan and really enjoying t,
I'm just starting The Night Stalker
. I really liked the first book in this series and have high hopes for this one.
Just finished
, "Radio Girls" which was very good and historical fiction, women's right to vote, the beginnings of the BBC, great.I'm now reading
, "The Last Time She Saw Him" which is a psychological thriller. I like to mix up my genre's. It's quite good, I'm half way through.
Trapped inside a virtual reality world--25th anniversary re-release. Fun and funny, so far.In the Net of Dreams

The Fickle Finger of NG wagged No to me for this one, so I'll have to be patient and hope the library picks it up! :)
I just finished
. It was quite funny, but I wish the cover was different. It looks like a middle grade book but it is actually a funny chic-lit story with ghosts and a murder mystery
Just starting
Slaughter by John Lutz. I see he also wrote
Single White Female so I have great expectations of this book.

I'm currently reading The Girls in the Garden. It's a really fast read for me, however, at times it can be difficult for me to keep track of all the characters.

,and I'm already having problems with it, still on the first page and I'm seen and trying to read sentences that don't make sense and ones that just run together.so much so that you can't tell where one word starts and the next one ends, example:Afterwordsshe'd felt guilty.
Currently reading
, a collection of short stories largely written in the 'Golden Age'. A really good collection. Only one disappointing story so far and I am almost half way through the book.
