It should be ok! Usually I try to do it in the AM before school but I ended up forgetting last time. I think we will just stick with if I don't get it up by 2pm someone else can do it! Past few weeks have been a bit crazier with exams but after tomorrow I am done with tests for about a month so it should be better.

Review. I really enjoyed this sweet story about second chances. Kate is a charter fishing boat captain, with a young daughter, whose husband died from a heart attack. She's a long time resident of Nantucket and doesn't think anything needs to change. She believes that her belated husband was the only love she'll ever find in her life. Lt. Craig Cole is the new Coast Guard Commander. He's moved to Nantucket from his post in Hawai to get away from the memories there. He lost his wife and son in a boating accident, leaving him the single parent to his own daughter. He has no interest in risking going through the pain of loss again but he and Kate are just right for each other and make a wonderful family, despite a rocky beginning.

Sorry, life has been crazy this week, and I just saw this. I really loved the first two books. Finished the last one last night, and it was kind of a let-down. I would say it's still worth it to give the series a shot, but I would definitely approach book 3 with caution, unfortunately.

I've really enjoyed this series, but I have to admit, this was a bit of a let-down. I was still involved with the plot, wanting to know what would happen next. But it really felt rushed towards the end, and a lot seemed to be left hanging, considering this was the final book. Like, what the heck happened to (view spoiler)? As far as I can tell, there are no new books planned, and that spoiler seems like a big plot thread left dangling. I just finished the book wanting more, and not in a good way.

Oh my Gosh!.....Love this book. A new author to me. I love her writing. Reminiscent of Ilona Andrews or Anne Bishop works. The story is about Vinna who was a teenage girl living on the streets who became a cage fighter. When she was 16 something happened to her physically where markings appeared on her body. They were runes and if she touched different things would happen like a weapon would appear, or her hearing would increase. She always wondered who her family were and what happened to them. She was in a fight with some Lamia (vampires) in an alley and was rescued by a group of men who whisked her off to a compound called Solace. This was a colony of casters and shifters. While here she finds out more about her heritage.
The writing is awesome, a great heroine. The last couple of chapters had me shedding tears. Check this series out, Book 4 releases in November.

Review:
This is the first book I have read by the author and it definitely won't be the last. It was a lovely book, set in beautiful Lake Como. The author has a great talent for descriptive writing.

Getting over a traumatic heartbreak MC Taggie returns to Lake Como where she spent a lot of her childhood hoping it will heel her heart, as she starts falling for the beautiful, charming Marco her past returns and threatens to destroy her all over again. At times heartbreaking but who doesn't love a happy ending. It is filled with funny, interesting and wonderful characters.

Review: The mystery was good, twists and turns and an unexpected ending, but the characters were annoying me again. The MC's boyfriend is stressed about money, which apparently means it is okay for him to treat her like crap. Just because he used to be a good person, everyone just gives him a pass. How about no. Oh and a cliffhanger? In a cozy? Are you kidding me?

You cant go wrong with a Psy-Changeling novel. This time we get to have Max and Sophia's story. Max is a human and a NYC Enforcement cop, Sophia is a Justice-Psy. This story is so very sweet and touching. Both have been abandoned emotionally by their parents. Max had a younger brother River who his mother doted on because he was so like her. Max didn't know his father and also what happened to his brother River - well in this story he will find out. Sophia tells her back story and it is so touching how loving and protective Max is of her. It's fun reading about the different branches of Psy, but I'm ready to get back into snow dancer or dark river territory. I just love the shifters! This one could be read as a stand alone.

Oh how I loved this book. Lindsey Kelk is fast becoming one of my go to authors, this series so far has been hilarious. This book takes place in Paris and as usual disaster strikes for the MC Angela Clark and her friend Jenny and nothing goes according to plan. The books remind me of Sex and The City meets friends. They are so funny and I have found myself laughing out loud throughout. He relationship with her musician boyfriend Alex is on the rocks again and she has no money and no job. She is a walking disaster and trouble follows her. I am looking forwards to the next book in the series.

This one is hard for me to rate/review. Most of the time, the pace felt really slow. It finally picked up around the 70 to 75 percent mark, and from there on, it moved really quickly. But that couldn't make up for the slow pace of the rest of the book. All in all, I felt it was a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, no real loose ends that left me frustrated. I just wish it hadn't had such a slow pace! That being said, I will look for more from this author, as I did enjoy the series as a whole.

I always really want to love Japanese books. I grew up enjoying Japanese shows, music, food, and culture. But I find most of the books difficult to get into and this one was no different. I'm glad it was fairly short page-wise. It just felt like nothing was really happening. This book also didn't have separate chapters which makes it feel like it drags on more when nothing is happening.

Review: Another great book although I'm sad that the series doesn't seem to continue. I don't think things were wrapped up well for the series, though the book doesn't have a cliffhanger. I figured out the mystery fairly early, but continue to enjoy being baffled by the paranormal aspects of the author's ghostiness. :)

BONUS POINT EARNED - One point can be earned for starting and finishing a series. There must be at least 4 books in that series. Series + spin-off totalling ≥4 books also counts. No re-reads on this one.
