Anything can be possible though. She may not be able to use her magic there yet, but I just can't wait for Rowan to meet Chaol!

The thought of those two meeting kinda scares me. Knowing that either of them would do anything to protect Aelin.
Think they may have a bit of a brawl, or be leading up to one before Aelin steps in.Kick his ass, Rowan!

I agree with Jess and Alexis, a Rowan/Chaol meeting makes me pretty nervous. I don't think they'll get along.

I'd say that is definitely a dragon. Beautiful, Majestic, Fierce, Deadly. Just like Aelin. Fire-breathing too.

I think alien is going to rebuild her court. I think the silent assassins from the assassins blade because the mute master said he ode her so... I also think the pirate lord we'll be working for the king cause the last time we saw him he Wass pissed.
I hope the Mute Master makes an appearance in upcoming books. I kinda liked the guy, actually. It broke my heart when he told Celaena that she would always be welcome in the desert, and that there, they don't abuse their disciples. I wonder if he knew who Celaena really was... He knew about Ansel's betrayal so he could've also realized about Celaena. He's one of those characters who are wise and always finds out what people are hiding, but you can also trust him to keep your secret.
Yeah, I hope we see him too. Just crashing in with a load of his students to help win at the last tide of a really epic battle scene. Maybe helping to take down Arobynn...

That makes me rethink... rethink that the King knows that she is someone of importance, apart from her age and skills... there is SOMETHING. like you know... a long lost member of a royal family? (I really don't think he knows Celaena is Aelin. He would have gotten her killed.)

OMG IT'S SO TRUE! I never noticed before, but yes Danielle, the king must've suspected something about her. Also, right before Dorian spoke, Chaol said, “If my father had all the documents about her capture and trial locked away, then he probably gave an order for all inquiries about her to be ignored.”
It's because she was so young, it was embarrassing, in ToG there's the scene with him and he seems to be mostly oblivious. (Always throws me off when I think he may know who she is).
Why did the king bother to hide her identity though? He could have told everyone she was Celaena Sardothien but he chose to lock up all her files. Then he also ordered the guards at Endovier to keep her alive as long as possible... If the king realized who she really was, why didn't he just make sure she died in Endovier?
I don't think he knows her true identity, he may be suspicious now but before that he just knew she was a deadly assassin.
He didn't want people to know how young she was. That would have been embarrassing for him

In my opinion Queen Of Shadows ends with a Cliffhanger of Celaena/Aelin meet again with Dorian but in dark form when she and her alliances go to rescue he and Aedion or something like that.

I've read the the current books 3 times and the novellas once. don't remember anything saying that he knew her true I identity.
Aelin said in Heir of Fire that Arobynn made her hate her heritage and created a new identity because of it.
He knew who she was when he found her. And if you read the first chapter of qos he talks about knowing who she is too

i am so excited for september 1st!! i already read the first 3 chapters of QOS and i can't wait to see what's going to happen next. i want Aelin and Aedion to reunite!! and i wanna see what will happen with Aelin and Chaol, and poor poor Dorian! its going to be so hard for Aelin to be apart from Rowan though. Theyre so cute!! but not really in a romantic way, just as a best friend and carranum. i almost want him to come to Rifthold but i dont at the same time because he could get hurt but i love the relationship between them. and i want Chaol to be like.... what, who is this guy lol. Maeve also needs to die!! but yeah im just excited for everything, its too bad there arent any ARCS.
Okay, I stand corrected. Arobynn knew, pretty much since the day he found her. I read the preview of QoS once before. Can't believe I didn't pick up on it.. I remember song lyrics and poetry without even trying, lines from books, movies, or TV tend to escape me.
I wasn't talking about Arobynn when I said that, I was talking about the King. That was the question earlier, no? If they king knew of her identity?
@Samwhitman, we're so close to the publishing date! We may not have it yet, but at least she gave us 3 chapters! Yes, it may have made things worse, the anticipation definitely build up BUT it's so worth it!
