A possibility of him recruiting his friends to help her. I know Maas will have them work together and will reunite both Rowan and Aelin.

I picture gavriel finding rowan and congratulating him for his freedoom, and yeah, starting like "don't be silly, she loves you in the same way you do, so... Take her" He's the only one that I think could join Rowan and Aelin.
Lorcan being such a asshole with rowan and may be the twin wolves surprised and still wide-eyed! Don't know too much about Vaughan.

I adore them. Love this series!

Rifthold:

I think Celeana’s return to regular society will be startling for her. I can imagine her going back and thinking of the forest and mountains around Mistward. I would assume her first point of action would be to go to her apartment to freshen up and come up with a plan of action. She’ll probably sit in a tavern to catch up on what she has missed. The king will most likely have his personal soldiers dispersed throughout the city now that he knows of the queen’s existence. It would make sense if at this point in time, every single person that arrives by sea is thoroughly checked and recorded.
Chaol would probably be in hiding. He might also monitor the docks for her return. Only part I’m unsure of is what he might have told Mort (the woodknocker) before he escaped the castle. He told Mort his location in case Celeana doesn’t know. I don’t see him leaving Adarlan, not while Aedion is captive and he doesn’t know Dorian’s status. You’d think Chaol and Celeana’s reunion would be an easy one, but Chaol could be up to anything.
Something I strongly bet on is that Chaol has been learning how to use the Wyrdmarks. He took all of the magic books with him before escaping the castle. His newfound knowledge of the Wyrdmarks will probably be his strength in the next book.
I’m guessing someone would be at the apartment because of Fleetfoot unless Chaol, Ren and the dog relocated. An encounter between Celeana and Ren is something I REALLY want to see happen. His shock at finding out she’s the queen would be priceless. The only issue I see with all of them meeting is once she finds out news about Aedion and Dorian, she’d want to take action immediately.
Assassin’s Keep:

I don’t think Celeana would march straight through the front doors not with how things ended. I would guess she’d try to figure out what’s been happening there first. Someone she can track down is Lysandra. Based on Sarah’s pinterest, she’s most likely making a return. Arobynn probably still keeps her close unless he let her go because of her reaction to Sam’s death. I see a strong possibility of Lysandra and Celeana becoming allies. If Lysandra is still close to Arobynn, she would be Celeana’s best chance at figuring out where the amulet is.
OR Celeana finds Nox to steal the amulet for her!! That would make sense regarding his profession, but Celeana might want to keep business between her and Arobynn private.
Knowing how things always go when Arobynn is involved, some plan of Celeana’s will fail and their encounter will end up revealing all the mysteries that we have been curious about. Celeana’s questions regarding Arobynn have been something she’s kept in the back of her mind since book one.
I’m also curious about the new character Nesryn being introduced. One idea I have of who she could be is Arobynn’s new heir. That would make for a tricky encounter between Celeana and Nesryn. Based on Sarah’s pinterest images of her, I’m going to lean more towards soldier from Ellywe. I picture an encounter happening between her and Chaol.
The Glass Castle:

I think we’ll find that the castle has changed drastically on the inside. The king will probably employ his “dark” soldiers to monitor the castle. I honestly wonder about how much the queen is aware of the king’s actions. How is he going to hide what he did to Dorian? Will Dorian be a zombie puppet walking around just to keep appearances? He’d be terrifying for everyone else if that were the case.
We know that the Wyrdcollar is a lot more powerful than the ring. The king might keep Dorian locked up until he finds a Valg prince to possess him. I think we’ll still get Dorian’s POV, but they will be very muddled thoughts almost like he is observing things from outside of himself. Chapter 44 in CoM provided a glimpse into the thoughts of the creature in the catacombs. I’m going to guess Dorian will be struggling trying to keep a hold of his identity.
It would be interesting if he was locked up in the dungeons next to Aedion. It would also be interesting if somehow his brother gains a soul and tries to help Dorian. Maybe it’s asking a little much of a 10-11 year old.
One thing is for sure. In order to save Dorian and keep themselves safe, the Eye of Elena will be needed. The creature in the catacombs was affected by it the first time it sensed Celeana outside the library. However, in Celeana’s encounter with it the second time, the Eye of Elena didn’t work because of the obsidian in the clock tower.
If Celeana is able to recover the third Wyrdkey from Arobynn, I think that will play a role in saving Dorian and Aedion if he is still prisoner.
Once again, based on Sarah’s pinterest images of Aedion, I think we can all rest easy that he will indeed survive. It seems like he’ll be playing a grand role in leading an army.
Ellywe:

I have a feeling this kingdom will no longer be a mystery to us. I see Celeana and the gang taking refuge here eventually and this is how they start to gather their forces. In HoF, Celeana had delivered a message to the king and queen. Then there was Chaol’s message for them to hold on. To me, this is all pointing to their involvement now.
Which leads me to think this is where we’ll be introduced to Nesryn. We’ll get her POV as Ellywe begins to prepare for whatever is coming. After the massacre in Calaculla and Endovier plus Nehemia’s death, there has to be someone from Ellywe rising up to take vengeance. Nesryn could possibly have been Nehemia’s best friend or relative.
Morath:

I’m a little terrified by what we are going to encounter here. All of Sarah’s images of Morath are really dark and haunted.
The towers are located in Rifthold, Amaroth and Noll (HoF Ch. 56). One line cuts through the Ferian Gap. That’s where the wyverns were bred. Another line cut through the Dead Islands. This is where the Valg princes were sent from. The third makes it through Morath meaning we are going to encounter one more creature. These creatures might be what became of Kaltain and Roland. Probably all the other nobles who have magic in their blood too.
Mannon and half of the witches will be here. I’m guessing it’s to protect the tower. It would be terrifying if the witches learned how to use the Wyrdmarks.
Abraxos is going to HATE Morath. If he was uncomfortable in the Ferian Gap, it will probably be worse here. Mannon is going to hate Duke Perrington without a doubt. Somehow I see her taking action because she’ll witness how the Duke treats Kaltain. Mannon or Kaltain will be the one to kill him.
I also wonder about the possibility of the first tower being knocked down from here. I feel like Abraxos might lead a group of wyverns in knocking it down. Otherwise, without magic, how else would it be torn down? They can’t just shoot cannons or arrows at it. It has to be something powerful. My guess lies with the wyverns or the 3rd Wyrdkey.
I have a feeling Sorscha’s words from Ch. 63 foreshadow an event to come: “If the captain and the prince decided to act on their knowledge, if magic was freed… it would be chaos. People might go as mad from its sudden return as they’d gone from its departure.”
The 4th book seems too early for a tower to be knocked down, but I could be wrong.
Wendlyn/Mistward/Doranelle:

I hope Rowan doesn’t become a background story like Dorian was. I imagine he’ll be making himself very useful while he’s away from Aelin. There is no doubt that Galan Ashryver will be making an appearance at some point. The smart thing would be for Rowan to work on an alliance with him.
I have a strong feeling he’ll also be training the other demi-fae. Who wants to bet Luca will learn to shift? That would make me so happy.
In Doranelle, there is no way Maeve is going to sit idle. With all the information she gathered from Aelin, she’ll know that there are preparations she needs to make. For this reason, we’ll see more of the cadre. We’ll also see interactions between them and Rowan.
We also have the other mystery character Elide. I think she’s the one who had shown up at Mistward with raw power. She was only there one week before going to Doranelle. If she is there, then an encounter with Rowan will happen.
And finally the Western Wastes:

I have no idea what to picture for Ansel’s involvement. She’s very far removed from everyone else, but this might be the advantage. She’s well-hidden from prying eyes so she can work on anything without being discovered or attacked. There is also the possibility she has an alliance with the Crotchan witches. There is a grand role she is supposed to play and it will be exciting to see what that is.

How I feel right now lol!
Looking forward to what you guys think =D

I agree with the Dorian being a puppet, he'll be controlled but his mind would be aware I think. Since it's just starting to control over him, I feel he will be able to resist some temptation. But most of the time he'd be like a puppet which breaks my heart.
Also didn't Celaena give Chaol the Eye of Elena? Chaol will eventually find out what went down with Dorian, and will try to figure out how to ditch his dad whilst finding a way to help save both Dorian and Aedion.
As for Rowan, I too think he will ask Luca and them to help him out. But you never know, Rowan isn't the type to ask for help especially from them. Perhaps Luca will force Rowan to train him, we shall see. I think Rowan will try and convince a few of his friends to help him out. He might even focus on trying to stop Maeve from whatever she plans to do, knowing that she found out quite a lot from Celaena.
As for Mannon and the witches, they are meant to surround the tower and protect it. But I too think that Mannon will rebel, this part will be quite interesting. Kaitlin and the Duke facing the witches. I have a feeling Kaitlin will survive this somehow, why? I don't know, I have a feeling in the end she will help Celaena. But I could be way off.
I think I'm forgetting something because I am way too excited, haha. But two things I want out of book 4 are Arobynn's death and Dorian's survival!

Adding on to the puppetry of Dorian, I feel like the king will use him/force him to fight someone. Most likely the king will probably send another attack to the fae in wendlyn, but a much stronger one considering his last one failed, and I'm guessing Dorian will be forced to fight their too, and be the face of the army (by that I mean it looks like he's leading it) that way it will eliminate anyone's trust or belief in Dorian, and he also has a more powerful team with Dorians raw magic, here i think he will face off against the raw magic user who went to doranelle.
Or he will stay in the glass castle doing whatever until aelin comes to save aedion (and him probably) there he is forced to face off Aelin
I just think that Dorian will face off someone who is powerful, otherwise it would be a lack of plot on his side. He will also most likely spend most of his time near the king in glass castle, but at some point in book 4 he is going to leave there. If he doesn't leave it would be way too weird since he spent all of book 1,2 & 3 in glass castle, it's time for him to have a change in scenery

Most likely he will be used to fight a strong opponent. Especially since the king now knows that he has magic. He will use it to his advantage. I have a hunch that Dorian and Celaena will end up fighting one on one and Chaol would catch them in the middle of it, not knowing why they're fighting. That would be something for Chaol to take in, who'd he help? Would he find out that Dorian is controlled?

Haha thank you! It's been a while since I've read an incomplete series. Bonus that I am head over heels in love with it too. I encountered Throne of Glass at the right time because now I have time to contribute to discussions like these which make me happy.
For your question, Chaol does have the Eye of Elena. I imagine Celeana and Chaol both working together to free Dorian. If it was a battle, I think they would both be present, but ultimately it will be the recognition of Chaol that might trigger Dorian to "return." Maybe seeing his ancestors relics would work towards saving him in some way.
As for Rowan, I don't think he would ask the demi-fae for help. It would be more along the lines of him helping them become stronger in case an attack were to ever happen again. He might utilize the training technique Aelin used with the wall where she was battling herself with magic. As an added bonus, he would also be strengthening those who would choose to follow Aelin as queen in Terrasen.
I am looking forward to seeing the cadre again. So many possibilities on what they'll be involved in. Based on Sarah's pinterest (once again), Lorcan will have a pivotal role.
For Dorian's survival, I can say we ALL agree on that haha. However, for Arobynn's death, ugh I'm torn. There is absolutely no way his behavior can be excused, but as a character I wish to know him more before his impending death. So it's hard for me to put a death sentence on him right now when I want to know more.

Priya, I just like to open doors for other people's insight =] The point you brought up about Dorian? EXCELLENT.
I also have the feeling the king will be bringing the battle to Wendlyn at some point in time, but I never considered the possibility of Dorian leading that army. Dang. Wow. That would be intense and heartbreaking to read about. I agree his character has been stagnant. Something critical needs to happen and one method would be changing the setting for his character.
Can you imagine what a battle of ice between Dorian and Rowan would be like? It would be epic.
Mae, Priya, if you guys are up for it, I would love to hear your thoughts on the questions I posted in the HoF discussion thread. It's another long post, but I hope you'd find it entertaining =]

And, do yo remember how Luca seems to be repailed for Rowan? He didn't like the fae.... But... As weeks went by and Rowan and Aelin became closer , I someway realized that Luca (and the rest of the demi fae) started feeling admiration and may be proud for the guy... Just as Aelin said "You are trusted and needed" and that's what makes me think that Rowan will train Luca and develop a bro relationship with the boy. And Emrys and Malakay will absolutly go with him to Adarlan.
On the other hand, I was wondering the posibility of 2x1
I mean, I can almost bet that Aelin will go to the tumb first... And when Mort tell her what happen.... She's just gonna frak out!
But after his meeting witjh chaol and ren, maybe she will decide to free Aedion while knocking down the damn clock tower! It could be usefull, I mean, the king will wait tobthw execution just because he's sure that Aelin will ruturn to save her cousin. In the execution moment, everybody will be too focused on the chance of Aelin's return to be careful of what happen in thw castle... And with a few ensuring the castle and the knowledge of Chaol and Celaena of it... The tower could be perfectly knocked down!!!
I have no idea of when is going to be the meeting with Arobyn but sth says me that Lyssandra could be Elyde... And here's my question @sabrine
What did you said about Elyde in Mistward??? When that happen that I absolutley missed it?! Is just another theory! Is interesting!

It's going to take a great amount of force to knock the towers down. I'm guessing it might be the wyverns, the 3rd Wyrdkey or Dorian that knocks one down.
There is a possibility Aelin might return to the castle as King's Champion. It would be a huge risk, but she might take it for Dorian and Aedion.
I agree that somehow she'll be going back to the tomb. Maybe it might be after she discovers people have been living in her apartment.
For what I mentioned about Elide, I think she's the woman Luca was talking about in Ch 11 of HoF (p. 83 in my Kindle). He mentioned a beautiful woman arriving at Mistward with the ability to summon any element, but she was only there for one week before being taken to Doranelle.
Based on Elide's background story (Lady Marion & Lord Cal), I don't think she has fae in her. She could just be a very gifted mortal, but I could be wrong.
Only part I'm unclear on is if Maeve denies entry to all mortals even if they are gifted. If she does, then that person might not be Elide.

I do think Ansel will lose this war though, Ansel doeant have very many allies, or a powerful army (there doesn't really seem any way she could win, unless she gained a major power boost after all that novella stuff happened, which I highly doubt wih the magic being gone and all)

It's going to take a great amount of force to knock the towers down. I'm guessing it might be..."
I also think she will return as the kings champion, It could go wither very right or very wrong. Could either result in Aelin gaining info and an advantage over the king, or it will lead to her capture and attempted execution. If she does go back as the kings champion I also agree that she will find the tomb, or if she doesn't go as the kings champion, Morts info will probably used for something else

About Ansel, yes, the only persons that actually wish "her kingdom" are the witches, so is probable that Aelin and Ansel bergain for alliance, sth like "I help you, you help me"
And what I don't see happening is an alliance between Aelin and Galan, and not because the boy could be bad or whatever, just because actually, he has to protect his own kingdom from Adarlan's attacks, and remember, meave is not exactly like a wished neightbor! However Rowan could be trainning demi-fae... They wish a home, a place where nobody look at them like a thing or "not a human, not a fae" and Terrasen will be that place... So, why not to fight for that place? Rowan will try to gather that army... He's already loved, trusted and needed, so I see that happening.
Pd: I'm so afraid for Aedion! What the hell the king is doing with him???

Rowan and Luca working together would be a great moment to add on the book.
I think it'd be wise for Celaena to return as the king's champion to try and save Dorian. That way she gets to see what's happening within the castle and their whereabouts. It'd be her way to use that facade as a ticket entry, seeing as the king doesn't know her true identity yet. I know she could enter through other ways and not needing the main gate, but it'd be so her style to do it as the king's assassin. Then just as the king sees her freeing Dorian and or Aedion, she reveals her true identity and slap the king's face with it

I feel the same about Galan ever since we first met him I didn't trust him. Sure he seems good on the outside but we don't know the inside. It's like how everyone thought Dorian was just a playboy, but later we realize how sweet and good and overall amazing he is on the inside. I'm not going to trust Galan until we see a glimpse of how he is on the inside

Priya, I agree that Aelin and Ansel might not be meeting until Book 5. Aelin's focus should be in Rifthold, but maybe she'll hear rumors about the red-haired queen and guess it's Ansel. Then she'll send someone to make contact with her.
Noris, you mentioned Aelin and Ansel creating an alliance based on safety. That would make sense. Right now the witches are divided. Iskra has half the witches with her in the Ferian Gap. I knew from the moment they were divided, it would mean trouble. It might be Iskra and her witches that provoke the attack first.
Mae, I agree with you about Celeana. It does seem her style to return as the King's Champion. I see a lot of flaws with that plan, but Sarah would make it work. Maybe the king would want her on security watch since Chaol is gone?
Something I find really strange are all the dresses Sarah has pinned for Book 4. When will there be time to dress up?? Are there going to be more parties and balls for Celeana to attend? It could be for undercover work.

I feel the same about Galan ever since we first met him I didn't trust him. Sure he seems good on the outside but we don't know the inside. It's like how everyone thought Dorian was just a..."
I think the one thing we do know for sure about him is that his first priority is his people. If something were to put their safety in jeopardy, he won't accept it. I do think he's a good person though. When Mistward was in trouble, they were going to send in reinforcements, but later couldn't because of the ambush.
Oooh. What if Galan takes one of the new characters as his queen? I wonder if Sarah plans to have them all matched in the end.

May be Celaena will be in too many parties for everything. To get whereabouts Dorian, to gather information about Arobyn... To win some allies... And because she likes the parties.
And... I thing that Lysandra has magic (all the images on pinterest) , and even if she and Aelin can't get a long, she will be usefull. There's a certain image that dazzle me a bit. In the image (there are many with the same) Lysandra is with a wolf.. And
a) she has magic and the wolf is her form.
b) someway she will be the couple for Aedion (sounds logical and may be more believeble)
c) her persinality is as fierce as celaena's may be like a wolf
d) this idea on my mind is crazy but... What if Lysandra is Elide??? What if, in the same way Arobyn found Aelin, Clarisse found Elide????

Sarah's got better taste than that not to mention Celeana ;]
The dresses. I knowww. They're really pretty and I'm so curious how they'll be incorporated.
Could you post a link with the image of Lysandra and a wolf? I don't know if I've paid attention to it.
I don't want to believe Lysandra is Elide. That would suck so much. For Celeana to have been close to someone from her kingdom for so long and not know it? Elide was described as a shy girl when she was young. She could have turned jaded after everything she went through. Wait! This mystery can be solved if we know Lysandra's age. Elide is younger than Celeana by a year or two. I think Lysandra and Celeana are the same age. Their physical descriptions would also reveal the truth.
I feel like such a stalker on Sarah's pages. I don't even have a Twitter and I follow her tweets. Really they're just super entertaining and I like gathering information on a Court of Thorns and Roses.

I'm dying XD

Whereas Elide is almost a year younger than Aelin (HoF Ch 24) and has black hair and onyx eyes (HoF Ch. 54).
If they end up being the same person, I'm going to scream inconsistency!

As for the dresses and the posh look, I agree with Noris. IF Celaena returns as the king's champion, she may have to play the guard role and spy around to gather information and so on. Just like how she did before. Act as a guard or a spy. Figure out what the king's planning, who's involved, who else knows what's going on, what's wrong with Dorian, who's this cousin of his and Chaol's position. Lots of possibilities as to why all these balls and parties might occur, and why these dresses are needed.

Yes Mae I'm with you. Unless there is a plausible answer for Elide's physical changes, I will not accept it.
Mariko, I don't know when it was announced, but believe me, we're all suffering right along with you. Good news. A Court of Thorns and Roses comes out in May. Still over 5 months away, but that's better than September =]

Yeah, exactly. Couldn't agree more with you Sabrine.
Hey Mariko! I know, the wait is far too long but at least we've got the books to reread, analyze, bookworms to discuss predictions and so on. Plus the new book released next year :D

I don't think she'll come back as the king's champion because how is she going to explain to the king her long absence and her failing to kill her target.

1. Aedion's face (doesn't matter if he loves her like a cousin or like a men, anyway he's gonna be wide eyed)
2. Rowan's face... (he has never seen her in her absolutly gorgeus and charming way... And may be he could be like... "shit... Wow... And... That's not covering your body a bit!")
3.Chaol's face looking at the other's face... (anyway he already know how beutiful she is but, really imagine him scowling at Rowan)
And a part of me is having fun imagining Rowan in elegant clothes like a smoking or a omm frak (sorry girls, no idea of how the hell you name the pinguin clothes for man, but that's how we name them in México)

And I don´t think Rowan is the kind of guys that surprise too much for pretty girls but anyway it could be nice if he likes Aelin in that way!

I agree that would happen...

1. Aedion's face (doesn't matter if he loves her like a cousin or like a men, anyway he's gonna be wide eyed)
2. Rowan's face... (he has ne..."
Yesss. I want Rowan to see Aelin all girly. He's only viewed her as a soldier. Now he has to see her other magical transformation. Aelin would flaunt herself in front of him and he would just scowl because he doesn't want to raise her ego. I have a hard time imagining Rowan in a suit haha To me, he's just a sexy warrior beast.

You have pointed something very important. I was wondering for Ren´s reaction when he realizes of the truth, and just like Ren, I think that the fact that Terrasen´s queen has suffer the same pain than her own people will be amazing. She was a slave, she was lashed...like everyone in a slavery camp! It will be like a trust vote. Sometimes we use to trust in the people that have gone through the same painfull situation than us. So her people will love her just for that... even if she´s been an assassin for a long time.

OMG DOES THIS MEAN MANON HAS A LOVE INTEREST?! I'm guessing this is just a picture and I'm looking too into things. BUT WHAT IF SHE ACTUALY DOES GET A LOVE INTEREST?! AHDEKFGWKGFKWAHFUGUWIRHFOGHWAOGUFOUQAGHOFUGUAWUGFUOQAGO
OK I'm ok now.
I hope she doesn't get a love interest though because I ship her with Rowan. My reasoning behind shipping them is because they are both immortal, I don't want him to be with aelin because a human lifespan for immortals is pretty much the same as a day for mortals. I want Rowan to be with someone immortal so he doesn't have to leave them, and Manon is basically the only decent immortal available.
But yeah that's never going to happen so I should probably just abandon that ship (it will be so hard though)
(I know that pic is pretty old but I just wanted to discuss)

Thanks to Melnara's theories, I keep thinking that that guy is Abraxos-turned-human. But I agree with you, IT WOULD BE SO COOL IF MANON GETS A LOVE INTEREST!

Has it ever occurred to anyone that C/A might be immortal too? Like, she grows like any other normal human, but stops aging at some point? I know her mother was an ordinary human (albeit with magic), but Evalin didn't get much of the Fae heritage (she didn't even have an animal form) and C/A did. I mean, who knows, right? Maas never said otherwise---Okay, I'm know I'm babbling so I'm just gonna leave it at that.

It'll only depend on who she decides to end up with. That ancient fae queen, Mab if I am not mistaken, was an immortal who decided to live a mortal life because she fell in love with a human or something.

I was thinking about that too. They said that Mab chose to be mortal. So if C/A were immortal, she could "down size"
