I really like Arobyn. Perhaps, he (at least for now) doesn't have magic. And in HoF it is said that Aelin's parents were killed without fight. They were in a kind of spell or something

I want many thing... But I really want chaol and his brother to have an awkard reunion. And maybe alein meet Terin and think he's choal.
It would make perfect sense if Arobynn killed Aelin's family. Because how could he found Aelin on the banks of the river before anyone could? Unless, of course he knew that the princess fell into the river, followed her and everything. And why didn't the king have a manhunt for the princess? oh I know, she fell into the river, who could survive that...BUT...
What if Arobynn gave the Amulet of Orynth to the king as proof that he finished his business??? :O
Given this, we now know, hypothetically, where the King got the second wyrdkey..
But why did Arobynn trained Celaena? I guess the king did something terrible to him or those he 'cared' (if he ever felt that), and seeing Aelin, he changed her so that time will come and she would take her revenge. Or maybe Arobynn just love to watch dramas unfold.
Great theory, Danielle. But, then what happens to the smell of the bodies of Evalin and Rhoe? Remember Aelin said the bodies smelled just like the Valg. Oh oh oh
UNLESS, and this will be in tone with your theory, that Arobynn works with/has some sort of magic thing going on in there... Oh well, that could be VERY possible if he hypothetically works for the king.!
So many pieces not yet unfold.However, what if someone who wore an obsidian ring gave off the smell of the Valg... or when they used the power of that ring? just my theory though. That might be the reason why it smelled like the Valg.
But whoever did it..... I know Aelin would really take her time taking revenge.
Ohhh, that'll be interesting. Never thought about that one! Yes, she will kick everyone's ass and be cool forever.
But maybe arobbyn had the ring on while killing Aelins parents and when Aelin fell into the river he followed in order to kill her. But the ring falls of or gets swept away.This also brings up a few possibilities of why he saved her. Maybe he wanted to show the king HA YOU CANT CONTROL ME or something along the lines, or maybe he felt bad or guilty about killing her parents, it can also be in anger of the king controlling him and be a ill get back at you, he can also be a pedophile or want to groom Aelin into loving him
Same here. Someway I think Arobyn wanted Celaena just for him... He wanted to be and mean everything to her. The only man in her life. That includes the romantic way. I have the feeling that he "build her" exactly like he liked... Previewing the future... How beautiful and usefull she someday would be

And Arobyn freak out! Imagine!!! He was watching them from a damn roof! He saw everytime Celaena and Sam kissed! Even more... When they slept!
It never made sense to me why Arobynn turned on Celaena if his excuse was he didn't like to share.. He planned on breaking her out before her execution, but then she got sent to the mines so he let her go. He was paying for the guards not to beat Celaena or kill her. And then when she does get out of the mine he doesn't try to win her back or contact her. Arobynn doesn't underestimates Celaena so I know he knows that Celaena suspects him for killing Sam so maybe that is why he is keeping his distance (smart man)To get to my point, I just don't know why Arobynn killed Sam if he was just going to let Celaena go after that one act. Now he has no power over Celaena and lost her all because he didn't want to share Celaena with Sam. Arobynn was just jealous that Celaena picked someone above him and acted stupidly on that jealousy..
But Arobynn still has power over Celaena as long as he has the necklace, but Celaena will try to hid the fact that he still owns her as long as he has that necklace..
Also Celaena will not be going back as the Kings Champion because at the end of HoF it says she will be hunted down because she didn't fulfill her mission in Wendlyn. I'm most looking forward to meeting new characters in Queen of Shadows..we got tons of them on Pintrest and I can't wait to meet all of them
I'm ready for Celaena to kill Arobynn, but part of me doesn't think she has it in her to kill him.. I mean if she really wanted to, she could have done it already once she became the Kings Champion.. A part of Celaena can't help but love him, I mean he raised her instead of killing her..
Oh and Arobynn definitely killed Celaena family at least according to the article Chaol read in the last chapter of CoM: it says the assassin who missed Aelin returned and we all know Arobynn is the one that found Aelin.. I don't know how the Valg princes play in the assassination tho?!? Maybe Arobynn was with the Valg princes when Aelin parents were murdered and that is why he kept Celaena, so he would have some magic defense against those creatures?!?
Well, in fact, when the king sent her to Endovier, he said that he would keep him alive as long as posible to punish her. Yeah, the Guards hit her, kick her and even more but they kept her alive just cause the king'd said so. It was the king... Not Arobyn, at least that's what I get

I don't think so. The eagle sword shows it was indeed Chaol, and that it said he had a new ancient sword...

She was in another realm, where those monsters came from. That was why when Chaol pulled her back, she changed again to being human.
This may have already been said and I totally skipped over reading it, but I was thinking about Aedion's execution and the result. I'm trying to figure out if he is going to die or get rescued and if so by whom. I've been thinking maybe Arobynn recently, he has the stealth and man power to do so and the reason. He must know Aelin is going to be coming back and so might save him to use as a bargaining token himself or as a gesture of good will to her.

I bet Aelin's going to ask for his help in invading the castle.

What if one of the wryd keys is in the eye of Elena. It would explain how the necklace has to much power.I don't think the king has 2 wryd keys, I just think that 1 wryd key has a lot of power (plus the king also has raw magic which is really powerful itself)
If it is then
1 wryd key is with the king (maybe in necklace form)
2 wryd key is in Aelins necklace
3 wryd key is in the eye of Elena
It would also be kinda hilarious that the thing that they were all looking for was with them the entire time but they had no idea (by they I mean every single character Chaol, Aelin, Rowan, Aedion, Dorian, the king too)
If you're going to Argue the eye of Elena didn't show much power, so didn't Aelins necklace, they were both used for protection purposes. Both the necklaces were never actually used for anything intentionally, they were just protection.
It also gives Dorian a way to survive in glass castle without anyone's help. (Which would be amazing since I don't want Dorian to be saved by anyone)

Why do I feel like Arobynn has discovered that the amulet of orynth is a wyrdkey, and he's shattered it into small pieces. But he has kept a little shard with him (for safe keeping). OR, idk, maybe he threw it into the Avery river.
