Mel, I think they do know one another. I don't remember any "meet cute" scenes between them, so I think (if I'm remembering correctly) they are already acquainted and there is some back story as to how/when they first met.

Now I'm gonna have to go back and skim through to see if I'm right! ;)

Samantha, if you didn't like Undead and Unwed, you probably won't like the others all that much, as it's pretty indicative of the series even though the last two books were more serious.

Oh thanks Diana! I don't want it to cost you too much time though. I don't think I can finish half of the books as it is.

Oops, sorry for not remembering to post my impression of Hunting Ground I forgetted. (Hanging head in shame)

I enjoyed it. Except that I really wasn't happy when Sunny died. (She was a human Omega.) But I WAS happy that Anna got to meet another Omega. Even tho he was "younger" than she is (only 6 months a were.) I think that trying to explain things to HIM will help HER. And he had some ideas that helped HER too, especially with dealing with the trauma from her first Pack.

We get to meet one of the "Grey Lords" (this one is aka Nimua, and/or The Lady of the Lake to us mere mortals.)

This is the summit between the North American Were's and the rest of the world's Weres. Altho they don't all attend this summit they are at least mentioned in the book.

Sigh, haven't gotten very far in today's book. First I spent almost 3 hours sitting in the dr's office (ok, I DID get some reading done there) then it was PARTY TIME at Oz's house. We had a nice gab fest with a couple of others and watched the first season of The Guild and part of season 2 of The Guild (www.youtube.com then search for The Guild if you are interested in what we were watching) I also watched an episode of Primeval. They better get out Season 3 on dvd soon, as I'm almost out of episodes on it.

Ameila, I was very tempted to retire the book a number of times, but with so many good reviews I thought I'd stick with it, and quite enjoyed it in the end. I think the writing left a bit to be desired, and I found the first half of the book hard to follow. But then it came good. I'm enjoying the second book (City of Ashes) moreso, and interested in which direction the author is leading her characters, even though I think I have a good idea.

Type before the text.

Then type the same thing after, but with / stuck in before the s.

Looloo click on "Some HTML is ok" at the upper right of the box where you type. That will show you all the abbreviations and how to do different things--strikes outs, italics etc.

For an anthology this was quite good. The stories were almost novella length, rather than short stories. I now have 3 new authors to read, since the only one that I recognized was Charlaine Harris. I have 1 of Nalini Singh's books that I've moved off my Challenge list I think 2 or 3 times. Guess its going to go back onto the list, if I can wait tile Oct. to read it, that is. :o)
