A 16 year mystery and a current miscarriage of justice.

Great Cozy-Mystery

Finished a reread of A Christmas Memory, including One Christmas and The Thanksgiving Visitor by Truman Capote. Two of the three short stories were classic group reads in another group for November and December, so I deliberately timed my reading to straddle the two months. Enjoyed this reading as much as the first.

I love Sandra Hill some of her books have made me laugh out loud.
Have finished two quick non-cozy reads this week that share a title but are completely different.
Snowed In by Rachel Hawthorne is a sweet young adult romance set during winter break on Mackinac Island (though the author never actually names the island at any time, it’s pretty obvious where the book is set, especially to anyone who has been there).
Snowed In by Sarah Title is a steamy romance novella set during a blizzard in Kentucky. It might be cold outside, but it’s hot and steamy inside.
These were read for both the 2019 Ultimate Challenge (two books with the same title by different authors), and this month’s Mini Challenge.

Have just finished a reread of A Christmas Carol, and at the same time met my reading goal for the year.
Thanks, Brenda. Now rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (book involving a game). I was hoping to finish before Sunday so I could slip in one more book this month, but I forgot this one is over 700 pages, and I won’t get much reading done Tues or Wed. Guess we’ll see....
