I had to DNF We Shall See the Sky Sparkling as it felt like it was going nowhere. For some reason I thought this was going to be a historical mystery, and then as I started listening I thought it might be more of a romance. 25% in and I just couldn't get listen anymore. In good news, I am really enjoying The Better Sister. I am already 60% in! (Olivia Randall from The Ex makes an appearance in this one!)

I literally just finished I Invited Her In and even tho it was predictable the emotions and drama kept me enthralled!
I finished reading and enjoyed The Secrets We Bury - the first book in the Undertaker's Daughter.
I finished a cool historical nonfiction book on houses in Vancouver (BC, Canada) At Home with History: The Untold Secrets of Greater Vancouver's Heritage Homes.
I had to DNF Death by Dark Waters as it was too slow and I soon lost interest.
I have not picked my next audiobook yet but I am reading Maybe I Do (Book 3). I loved the first two books, but did not get a chance to go back to finish the third book.

Thank you! :)
I finished listening to The View from Alameda Island - a standalone novel by Robyn Carr - and as always enjoyed the writing. I just started listening to Soon the Light Will Be Perfect.
After almost a year of on/off reading, I finally finished Lover Avenged (Black Dagger Brotherhood #7) by J.R. Ward. 5 ★Here's my review.
Soon the Light Will Be Perfect turned out to be a shorter novel (5 hours on audio), so I was finished this morning. This coming of age story was well written and very realistic. I went straight into listening to Lost Roses, Lost Roses is a "prequel" - so far it seems that it is only about Caroline's mother, Eliza, and her friends.
I finished a short memoir (140-ish pages but also smaller size) Heart Berries: A Memoir. I am glad it was short as I could not stop reading (I finished it on my commute home). It is very lyrical so it might not be for everyone. I read this for my work book club (Indigenous reads) and loved it.
I started Running in the Family earlier this month but just finished the last couple of chapters last night. This is another lyrical memoir.
I am now reading The Earl Next Door (Book 1) for a blog tour. I am already liking the characters and story!
I needed an audio book and found The Rosewood Bay Series by Carly Phillips, all four books and available at my library, so binge read time. This romance series was a fun break for me.

I have the series on hold at the library! The book does a good job laying the whole thing out.
I finished listening to The Light Over London and really enjoyed it. I liked the characters and sweet romance in the contemporary parts of the novel. I started The Right Sort of Man (book 1) and am already in love with the characters and story. It is a historical mystery. I started listening to Old Baggage but not very far into it. I am still reading Little Darlings.

This weekend I managed to finish listening to Old Baggage which I thought was just okay. I also finished two library books: a fabulous short poetry collection What We Carry and Little Darlings - I expected something more, and felt like the characterization wasn't as smooth. I sadly finished The Right Sort of Man which I LOVED! I loved the main characters, and the secondary cast around them!
I started listening to Saving Meghan and am loving how much I don't know where this is going yet! I am two chapters into A Lady in the Smoke: A Victorian Mystery.

I just got The Right Sort of Man so it’s great seeing that you loved it!!!
Waiting on the sidelines for your opinion of Saving Meghan as I’ve got my eye on that one.

I finished Saving Meghan and while I liked 75% of the book, and found it to be suspenseful, the ending sort of had me torn. I liked and I didn't...so I rated it 3.5 rounded down to 3 stars. Still worth reading though! Now I am starting Wunderland - historical fiction.
I completed my first series of the year for my 2019 goals: Maximum Ride Forever (Maximum Ride #9) by James Patterson, 4 ★. Here's my review.
