Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments While an audio book might not have been the best way to hear all this information, it was all the library had available. Certainly Dark Emu by Australian author, Bruce Pascoe is an eye-opener that should be a must-read for all Australians.

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments Nobody should pass up the BuzzBook previews! As expected, I enjoyed Buzz Books 2019: Fall/Winter: Excerpts from Next Season's Best New Titles by Susannah Cahalan, Eoin Colfer, J.T. Ellison, Jojo Moyes, Jeanette Winterson and More which, as you can see, has a lot to choose from. I made a few comments, but it's worth checking the Goodreads blurb for a good list.

Suz | 4426 comments Here is a review (of sorts) on a book, written by a brave girl I discovered in the news this week: Noa Pothoven Winnen Of Leren Winnen Of Leren by Noa Pothoven

My review, in which I am attempting to raise attention to the publishers that an English translation is hoped for!

PattyMacDotComma | 3297 comments Case Histories by Kate Atkinson was a re-read for me, and a good one, too! She's written book 5 of her Jackson Brodie mystery series, so I thought I'd catch up. Just as much fun this time around, and I think I enjoyed the characters even more.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9974 comments I'm a bit late to the party with Richard Glover's latest, The Land Before Avocado, but at least I've read it before I go to the literary lunch next month. Hugely entertaining, but note the warning at the end of my review...
