I’m a writer, traveller and hopeful romantic with a lengthy bucket list. I love exploring new places, outdoor adventures, and eating and drinking like a local when I travel, and many of my travel adventures have found homes in my novels. I’m also an avid reader, a film buff, a wine lover and a coffee snob.

My first novel, a romantic comedy set in Greece and inspired by my real-life love story, was published in June 2019 by One More Chapter (HarperCollins). Excitingly, in 2020 there will two follow ups to One Summer in Santorini. That Night in Paris in April, and A Sunset in Sydney in July. Readers can also expect a stand-alone Christmas novel in October.

I am repped by Lina Langlee.

Sometimes, I will start a blog post that goes nowhere and never gets published, but the best way to get through a block is to write. (less)

The idea comes, I let it percolate for a few hours or a few days - sometimes longer - and then I start writing. I have a general idea of where I am going, but I am often pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns my writing takes. It is ridiculously fun to play in this way.(less)

"A light, enjoyable read that made me wish I was on holiday in Greece (Santorini is definitely on the bucket list!). Wish there had been more resolve in the end but all in all a good summer read. "

I don’t know how to explain what happens in those few seconds after he finishes speaking, except to say that it’s as if a piece of my heart breaks off and leaves my body. It’s as if that tiny, vulnerable piece beats its way right across the bench and attaches itself to Reid. All because of this gentle confession, this effort at making me feel better.

“Once a year, take her somewhere she’s never been. Once a month, do something new that melts her in the sack. Once a week, stop everything and just listen to her. Once a day, catch her doing one thing you love. Once an hour, kiss her on the mouth. And every minute of every day, be grateful that you got her.”
