I know what you mean Debra - so much you can't say in a review! I think the Mods would be fine if you wanted to set up a thread for discussion under "Individual Book Discussions". I've read it and I think quite a few people in the group have this from Netgalley or S&S.

There will be a lot who haven't read it yet as it's not published, so we don't want to spoil it for people with spoilers :) Thanks.
It seems I enjoyed the first book in Alexander McCall Smith's new series, The Department of Sensitive Crimes more than some reviewers. I saw it as delightfully tongue-in-cheek, not crime but a study of human behaviour.5★s

The fourth book in the series is a lot of fun. Looking forward to reading Miriam Black has to deal with in the next book.

Well I think Ian McEwan's latest book, Machines Like Me is probably going to polarise readers, but I enjoyed it. definitely topical and thought-provoking.4.5★s
