It's like the cheesy vampire movies where the guy goes up to the castle to drive a stake into Dracula's heart, while he's asleep in his coffin. Why not just send a local dentist to extract his fangs, then Dracula would be screwed!

"Here's Johnny" he shouted."Actually, that's one of the more creepy moments, for me. It was at that point that I realized that my decesaed father looked like Jack Nicholson.......

Or "101 Uses for a Dead Cat?"(Sorry, Eric, you already know I love 'em and have had several in my life--I didn't write it, just read it). Not to mention the "Creepy Ass Dolls".....
Dear Scaredy Cat's,No matter how long you have been a member, it's never too late to introduce yourselves if you have never done so. We like to think of ourselves as one big sick creepy family. You obviously fit right in or you wouldn't be here. We don't want others to think that we keep you locked up down in the cellar, just because of that third eye in the middle of your forehead. That's no way to treat a member of the family, so at least try and say hello with that forked tongue!
Welcome Angel our newest member to the group. Are you a real angel? If you are you are a real angel, did you see a light at the end of the tunnel upon your demise? Just curious. Were only kidding, introduce yourself.
Hold on to your fire and brimstone everyone. The next person who joins will be member 666. Who or what is any bodies guess. I think we may in for a devilish time. Muahahahahaha!!!
Welcome our newest member Jenn from Joysy. You barely squeaked under the wire at member 665. One more and you would have had the mark of the beast 666. Glad to have you and we hope you have fun with the group.
Whoa! Catherine, Catherine, Catherine. You are our 666th member. Not at all what we were expecting, no horns or slitted eyes and long tongue. Instead a pretty face and from Kansas City we see. We were expecting you to be from a lot farther south, where it's really hot.Welcome to the group and as you can probably tell were a little creepy and crazy.

My name is Rachel :) I have a little Boston Terrier named Hamilton who is one of the loves of my life! I enjoy (a little too much) red wine and horror. I have no idea why but I LOOOOOOOOOVE horror and anything genuinely creepy. I'm also interested in abandoned things, the Tudor period, and Victorian Gothic books/stories. I recently purchased The Oxford Book of English Ghost Stories (a fairly large book of creepy stories published between 1829 and 1968) that I'm very much looking forward to reading! Glad to be part of the group :D
Welcome Irene from across the pond, and glad you could join. Quit holding your breath your face is turning blue. Lol, just kidding lovely flower.
Welcome Katherine to our little group. I see your profile is set to private and you have disguised yourself as a kitty cat. Are you from the IRS or CIA? Hope you have a sense of humor and again welcome.

Hope you have a sense of humor and again wel..."Thank you Robert. Actually it is DPA (Department of Property Assessments). No one likes taxes. Disguise and privacy. LOL !!!
Welcome Rachel from the UK. I see you just joined Goodread's and our group. I just befriended you because everyone should have a friend. I don't normally befriend someone who hides their profile picture, because it may be one of my ex wives or U.S. Marshall's hot on my trail. Perhaps when your face heals from that horrible botched cosmetic surgery, you will reveal yourself to us. Until then, welcome to the group and everything we say and do is all in fun!
Hi, I'm Zoe, and I've been lurking. I've always liked horror books, TV shows, and movies. I miss the days when scary stories really scared me, but every now and then I manage to still get creeped out.
I have a book coming out in February, Suckers (although technically the paperback is available now, because IngramSpark isn't particularly clear on how to set a book up so that it isn't available for sale immediately--you'd think setting the "publication date" and "on sale date" (especially the "on sale date") would do that, but nope!). It's character-driven horror about two friends struggling with a plague of alien parasites and the world falling apart around them.
And I'm getting my next book ready to turn into my editor at the end of the year--between that and the holidays, life is kind of crazy, and I'm looking forward to January.

Hello *Waves* My name is Eve and I'm an English Major in college.
I love horror of all types and I have been known to write a creepy short story here and there but it's rare I'm willing to share them.
Eve, welcome to the group. After you read some of my pathetic short stories I have posted, you will feel it's your duty to class up the place with some of your's. We can't wait, and were glad to have you.
Well hello Jackie! We think you are going to have fun here. Hope your a blabber mouth and constantly talking to keep this group on it's toes. So introduce yourself!
Robert wrote: "Oh definitely an ex wife with an attorney!"That explains your desire (or need) to win the lottery! :) If it's any help, it can be equally as expensive for us ladies!
Hi. I'm Barb and I live in Minnesota with my 5 Yorkies. I'm with Lisa, I like horror that is believable. I like dystopian, sci-fi, paranormal, fantasy, romance and sometimes other genres. I look forward to getting to know everyone. Someday....maybe a book.
Welcome Barb and Kelly, our newest members. Glad to have you and we hope you enjoy our little clan. Were all about fun and conversation.
Sorry, I guess I'm a wee bit late on this one, but here goes...I'm from sunny California ( missing home), but took a gray hound bus ride at 14 on my own to live in N.Y.(I love a good adventure!) I have 7 kids (2 mine, 5 adopted, every body needs a Momma!) who are all grown and on their own which now gives me time to write my murder mystery s. I'm not published yet, but working on it. I have done more in my life than anyone else I know under 45 yrs. old and pretty proud of it. (adventure!) I think my most interesting and fun jobs were Owner and lead artist at my Tattoo shop for 17 yrs. Carney for Conklin Shows and Pyrotechnicion for Youngs Explosives just last year. Halloween...totaly my fave holiday!
WOW KC, Our young lives sound familiar but opposite. I was born in L.A. California and left home at 14. Ended up in Nebraska where I waitresses and went to school to graduate. I have always loved animals and small towns. It took me a long time to settle down. Nice to meet you.
Hopefully the rest will be as a NY Times best seller Robert ! Nice to meet you too Barb? What did you go to school for?
I went to Jr. College in CA for business BA and computer programming. It was a long time ago when Texas Instruments computer were the top of the line and we were programming in basic language and learning dBase principles. I hated Windows when it first appeared because you couldn't program in what you wanted. ROFLMAO. Now what would we do without it?

Hi...Felecia,Lorien, Candace Mel, Beth, Nicola and Jade.
Welcome to the group. This is a great group and Robert keeps us rockin' along.
My name is Cathy. I love a good scary read. I especially enjoy more psychologically scary books. I kind of the the Turn of the Screw is that way especially the old film noir version of the story done some time ago. you only see the ghosts out of the corner of your eye. Wonderful scary! I came to the horror drama in high school when I read Bram Stoker's Dracula. I remember the fear creeping up on me until I was totally frightened. I kept the book safely stowed in my school bag when I wasn't reading it as if somehow if it was in the bag I'd be safe. Love that book!
Hi My name is Beth and I love to read horror. Mostly I read Stephen King but haven read other authors as well.Am open to all authors suggestions.
Hi, I'm Alicia, I'm currently studying to become an elementary teacher..one who likes to read as often as I can when I have a free moment. I'm currently reading The Magicians, and I'm liking it so far. Thanks for the group invite!

Ah! No. No. No. Only half gringo. My heritage is half Spanish (Asturias, Espana) and half Anglo-American (Florida Cracker). I was born, raised, and still live in an old Latin community in Tampa, Florida.
While Spanish was not my first language, I understand it and used to speak it in a utility fashion in order to speak with mi abuela (my grandmother) when I was a child.
Hasta la vista, baby! ;)
