Now it is a whole damn revolt! I have to go refrigerator shopping... The legs on ours are twitching and it is too old to repair - in fact it can't be repaired because the coolant is an outlaw! It needs to be put out of its, and our, misery, but we currently have it on life support until a replacement can be found. I just hope it hasn't been talking to the cooktop...

No promises this time, I will post them as soon as my appliances (and I count my computer in that list) let me. ~sigh~

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've already replaced the stove this year, and thought for a while that the refrigerator was going too, but fortunately got that problem resolved. Hopefully things will go smoothly, and your computer will be more cooperative once you can finally get back to it! =)

Thanks, Kat! Glad you were finally able to get your cranky computer to cooperate! The picks look great as always, and I too was impressed that you were able to find so many new options. That's never an easy task when one of us has to pick for the other! =P

message 92: by Sonja (new)

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments FRAN! I cannot believe it took me all week to get these to you! I'm sorry for the delay! Maybe it takes me too long to do these... And it didn't help that I was browsing (read: drooling over) your shelves and adding to my own! LOL

Bookworm - “School means books to read and time spent in the library.”
🍎 TBR: In Bed with the Beast (shy, bookish character) - and now on my TBR!
🍎 TBR: Just You (brown on cover) - on my TBR too, dang it!
🍎 NEW: Romancing the Duke (All of them!) – If you don’t read any of my other recommendations, I hope you’ll get to this one at least!
In Bed with the Beast (The Naughty Princess Club, #2) by Tara Sivec Just You (Second Chances, #3) by Mari Carr Romancing the Duke (Castles Ever After, #1) by Tessa Dare

Nerd/Geek - “School means time away from video games and my computer.”
🍎 TBR: Dirty Doctor (medical field) - that title had me simultaneously drooling and giggle-snorting like a horny teen
🍎 TBR: Taxes and TARDIS (geeky/science field)
🍎 NEW: Nerd in Shining Armor (Technology) – I’m reading this one this month too! Wanna buddy up?
Dirty Doctor (Steamy Coffee Collection, #2) by Whitney G. Taxes and TARDIS by N.R. Walker Nerd in Shining Armor (Nerds, #1) by Vicki Lewis Thompson

Mean Girl/Bully - “School means that I’ll get to sharpen my claws.”
🍎 TBR: Dirty Exes (Mean guy and pink on cover)
🍎 TBR: The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue (YA)
🍎 NEW: Of Beast and Beauty (YA/ red on cover/ bullies) – YAs aren’t usually my genre (not nearly enough nookie!), but this one… packs a punch! Imaginative, well-thought-out alternate telling of one of my favorite stories! Takes a bit to grasp the language, but oh my once you do…
Dirty Exes (Liars, Inc., #1) by Rachel Van Dyken The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue (Montague Siblings, #1) by Mackenzi Lee Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay

Jock - “School means football games… and then basketball games… and then baseball games.”
🍎 TBR: Most Likely to Score (sports romance) - Good gravy those abs.... this is why I can't get anything done... :-}
🍎 TBR: Impact (outdoor scene) - and on my TBR now...
🍎 NEW: Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (outdoor scene) – I saw you'd read Lisa Kleypas' HR series. I loved this series, though this one wasn’t my top, the whole series together is fab! There's a little bit of Magic in Friday Harbor (loved the locale!)
Most Likely to Score (Most Valuable Playboy,#2) by Lauren Blakely Impact (Wild Men of Alaska, #1) by Tiffinie Helmer Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, #1) by Lisa Kleypas

Loner - “School means less time alone.”
🍎 TBR: My Vampire Idol (shifter/gray on cover)
🍎 TBR: All over You (grey cover)
🍎 NEW: The Last Werewolf (shifter wolf, suspense and definitely a loner) This one’s tough to recommend because I think you either love it or hate it. I personally loved it and the whole series. Like it. Don't like it. Anyway it's recommended!
My Vampire Idol (Shifting Reality, #3) by R.G. Alexander All over You (Devoured, #0.5) by Emily Snow The Last Werewolf (The Last Werewolf #1) by Glen Duncan

Class Clown - “School means a captive audience!”
🍎 TBR: Will & Patrick Wake Up Married (comedy)
🍎 TBR: Winning Back His Wife (smile on cover)
🍎 NEW: The Perils of Pleasure (adventure, made me laugh) – I read this whole series and thoroughly enjoyed nearly all of them. Love the author’s witty, intelligent writing style as well as many of the themes and plot points peppered throughout the series. This one cracked me up as the MC, an unapologetic ass of a rake is literally swept from the gallows and then dropped on said unapologetic ass.
Will & Patrick Wake Up Married (Wake Up Married, #1) by Leta Blake Winning Back His Wife (Camp Firefly Falls, #1) by Zoe York The Perils of Pleasure (Pennyroyal Green, #1) by Julie Anne Long

New Kid - “School means starting over.”
🍎 TBR: Fall Out (military)
🍎 TBR: Fall Hard (military) - good lawd that's some skin.... and what the hay, why don't we knock two off that series! ;)
🍎 TBR: Sex in the Sticks (small town, relocation) - and now on my TBR! OH those baby blues!
