Hi EmJay-
Thank you! I would love to release audio versions of my books. Lately I've been listening to a lot more audiobooks and so the idea has become even more appealing. It's something I plan to explore in the next year.

I think writing about the characters from the Commitment series is something I do often because it's both enjoyable and, quite honestly, easy. I know them so well at this point that it's not difficult to follow them into new and different circumstances, nor to widen their circle. But having said that, after 2017, I hope to challenge myself more by writing about completely unrelated characters.(less)

READING RECOMMENDATIONS DAY 24

[image error] One of my pastimes is figuring out how people became who they are. I sometimes idly wonder about an average person I might meet–their parents, their home life, whether they were hugged, and loved, berated or made to feel ashamed. I wonder if they read a lot, and were curious about the world, heard parents discuss money woes, or ideas. Or money woes and ideas. I wondered that about Read more of this blog post »

Nia Forrester is on page 95 of 336 of Ordinary People: I set this aside for a while because I could tell it was 'serious' literature requiring focus. Not a light read at all though it is full of humor. This writer is EXTRAORDINARILY comfortable with words, using and manipulating them to mean whatever she would like them to mean rather than relying only on their literal meaning. Marriages fraying is also, always, a very intriguing theme. Enjoying this one a great deal.

him. Never believed there was a woman out there that would make him sign up for that particular brand of madness. And, in the abstract at least, it still sounded like madness but this wasn’t about marriage, it was about Riley. With her, he knew that boyfriend-girlfriend shit wasn’t going to be enough. He had to have her locked down.

“I had lunch with my brothers,” Mark said, his face serious. “While you were still asleep. They told me. About Corey and that stupid set-up you agreed to where you’d pretend not to be my wife . . .”
“I never agreed to pretend not to be your wife,” Dylan said.
Mark’s face grew serious then. “That’s what it amounted to in the end though, didn’t it? You pulled away from me in exchange for me getting . . . what?”
“Your career back,” Dylan said. “Your life.”
“Dylan, you’re my life. You.
