Nice! What books did you get?

Awesome! Looking forward to seeing what titles you snagged!
Beside reading for Towers does anyone have any Mother's Day's plans?
@ Erika; I love getting books for free. I read that one! Enjoy.

Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday so we will also be celebrating and then spending some of the day with my mom for Mother's day
Happy reading everyone!

Team spreadsheets should be available today or tomorrow.
In the meantime, I've put together a spreadsheet to help with our spells: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
You'll need to request permission to access it. Laura and I will complete the first sheet, Spells. Anyone can add their books to the second sheet, BookDetail. And if anyone who is more spreadsheet-savy than me (which doesn't take a lot) has any suggestions to make this sheet easier to use, let me know.

Family time! Sounds wonderful

I've linked the books read thread in post #10 along with Sonia's Spell table for easy access

It’s Mother’s Day in March where I am. Reading is my plan today.
Hope all with plans today enjoy your Mother’s Day/Birthday/Reading day!

I’ve sent request.

That's actually kinda cool; Danielle. I knew that we all didn't celebrate on the same day ... I like interesting facts like that!

Wahooo... I started a book that will work for that pesky "I" since we need a few and searched last night for some to fit "u" and "e".

Keep reading we are doing awesome. Here is the Team Spreadsheet
Also posted in post #10 for easy access.

A couple of you have requested access to our Spells Spreadsheet - here's the link again: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
If you are able to log in your books under the BookDetail sheet that would help Laura and I out a lot. If you can't, no worries, but if you can it will save us some time. Thanks!!!
Happy reading!

FYI - We have reopened the NBRC Back Room for anyone wishing to join in buddy reads that are for books with a mature or clearly adult content, in a reserved space, out of range of our underage members

Sandy, that's super news! It was such a good book. I read that last summer during towers V.

Glad I wasn’t overstepping :)

."
Both books I want to read, so will see as time is nearer if I’ll join in.

Working on my U book today- Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst.
It’s due back on the 16th so I shall be working in QT with it when I need a break from work and otherwise. Happy Monday!

I need everyone's opinion on spell-outs....
Should we start with the most valuable words or fill in the harder letters?
Also, take a peek at the team spreadsheet - we don't have explanations yet, but the classes are listed. If you think your book might fit one, include it on your completion thread.

I think we should do both. If a book works for a harder letter, then should be used there, but also work on the higher point spells first. I also think books should be used for the harder classes before using for a spell.

Hey Newts
I was trying to list the links to the various Buddy Reads in Msg 7, but there are too many to keep up with. So please don't forget to check the link regularly to see if something you're wanting to read is included, or ask for your own BR for a book you want to read. It's an extra 30 points (40 for one of the HP books!)

For the letters X, Y and V, you can also use translators names and or audion narrator names, providing the edition you are reading allows for it.
Meaning, you'll have to read the translated version to use translator's name or listening to the audio version to use the narrator's name.
