Hi Blastro, I've checked photos on my computer, (assuming that if you sent them, it would have been via an e-mail), and they're not there. I am pretty organised, so if you had sent them, I would have sectioned them. I can't remember if Elaine took a photo of us, I'll ask her and let you know, as she's got a better memory than me. We went to Branksome beach, easy to confuse with Sandbanks as they're right next to each other. :-) Will e-mail you over the weekend, cheers mate.

Well..everything points to the Swans as being favourites to win, after the Crows unimpressive R4 match last week..however, seeing as I've made 3 incorrect first game punts in a row now...I've no doubt those pesky Crows will win this one! So i'm hedging my bets....the margin stays low this week! :)

Ok cheers bud. Can't find the pics on any computer, the camera or any of the old phones, which is peeing me off a bit cos there's some good uns of our young uns running amok. Also there's one of yourself and me discussing God knows what while stood at the entrance to Branksome. North were 10 goals up before they ground to a halt in the third quarter and let the Hawks back in the game. Luckily for them they were able to steady and those early goals stood them in good stead.

The Suns looked dead on their feet by the fourth quarter. All that travel was telling. The final quarter was all the Lions who finished with a shot on goal which would have got them the draw. Luckily (for me and others) it wasn't to be.

Deano's looking good on 5 from 7, as would Suzy have been if she'd stuck with her Suns!!!!

I'd have been hard put to say who was the underdog in that game. I know the Lions are yet to win but, apart from last week, they've been playing really well. The Suns had two wins from four going into the game, so on paper they looked the better team, but two consecutive games in Perth (some 2,680 miles from Brisbane or a 5hr flight) definitely take their toll.

A crowd of 77,071 was at the MCG tonight for a game that was quite tight for the first three quarters with both teams having the fumbles (possibly a damp ball - there was a bit of drizzle around today but the temperature even now at 10.20pm is still 17 degrees). You always felt that Richmond was going to break out eventually but their fans would have been chewing their fingernails for much of the game. Melbourne seem to play a close-in game with lots of short hand passes, but they never really look dangerous. This was supposed to be a much-improved year for them - not seeing it yet.

I listened to that game...the Dees did look at one point to be gaining on the Tigers in the 2nd quarter, and got within 7 points, when the Tigers just seemed to be fumbling....but then they got they're claws out in the 2nd half! The Dees kinda just gave up in the 4th quarter...letting the Tiggers put goal after goal through.

I think RABB was the last Freo supporter. When we first started, he may have been the Pies, but changed to Freo because he had close friends who barracked for them. Hope he and his wife and baby Nathan are all flourishing. RABB was just a baby himself when he started back on 'Zon and, apart from grandchildren, I suspect his was the only baby born to our hardy band.

I checked back above to your tips Duke and it definitely says Sydney by 7.

The Magpies - Tigers game is looking interesting now. The Tigers weren't too flash on Tuesday and the Pies are flying high. Both will be affected by the short turn around.
