message 76: by ReadingByTheSea (last edited Jan 25, 2018 01:43PM) (new)

ReadingByTheSea | 20 comments Hmm, 3,000 pages should get me off to a good start for the year :) I've been full-time working as a copyeditor and teacher since my now 18-month-old son was 4 weeks old (so zero time for reading), and have just dropped back to part-time so I have NO IDEA how many pages I can do in a month anymore... I'm extremely interested to know! (If I count read alouds, I just might make it :))

3163/3000

Week 1: 152 + 240 + 315 + ^134 + **54 = 895p
Week 2: 197 + 382 + 372 = 951p
Week 3: 860 + 304 = 1164p
Week 4: 22^ + 131^
Week 5 (3 days):

Books finished:
The Three-Body Problem **54p on 1/1 (book started at end of December)
The River Between 152pp, 1/1
The Student 240pp, 6/1
The Dark Forest 512pp, 9/1
Death of a River Guide 382pp, 11/1
People of the Book 372pp, 12/1
We Are Legion (We Are Bob) 304pp, 22/1
Knife of Dreams 860pp 24/1
CHALLENGE COMPLETED!

^Books not yet finished:
The History of the Medieval World: From the Conversion of Constantine to the First Crusade 134 of 746
This Way for the Gas, Ladies and Gentlemen 22 of 180
The Gathering Storm 131 of 783
