It's an interesting look at a city and society in changing times.

Finished yesterday The Way the Crow Flies by Ann-Marie MacDonald. Liked it, even if there were probably too many things for a single book. This is my review:

Interesting! I've seen that I can find it on libraries on line; I'll look into it then!

An unusual novel in terms of structure, content, and theme. Highly recommended for those who enjoy reflective, digressive writing.

I've been holding off reading it, wondering if it will be worth my time. I'm curious as to why you are unsure about it, Katlyn.

Riyadh Khalaf is a popular YouTube activist, a colourful guy who's put all the facts and fears in this one, well-illustrated book. Celebrities, photos, cartoons!

A modern retelling of the Oedipus myth set near the murky river waters in Oxford. It includes elements of fairy tales and folk tales, conjures up a haunting atmosphere, and is very well done.
