YO did i mention that i finished my first year of college lmao ?? like i took my last final as a freshman yesterday? and ? tbh i’m like woah that went by really fast, how am i a sophomore already, but at the same time i’m like, damn this has been a fuckin rough year

since the first day of fall semester, i’ve passed exams with A’s, failed (many) other exams, dropped 2 classes, risked losing my scholarship twice, spilled HCl in my chem lab (sodium bicarbonate to the rescue!), had the same professor twice, met some AWESOME people, have broken up with 2 different people, lost a family member, gained 15 pounds but then lost 10, and i’ve made out with a friend in the elevator of the university center.

so i have the summer off, i won’t be going back till september, and hopefully things will be better now that i’m in classes that i’ll enjoy. i registered for classes for fall 2019 this semester and i’ve got:
an english class that’s the follow up to the first english class i took last fall, with a professor who has a 4.8 on RMP
arabic 1 with an unassigned professor that’ll be easy af bc it’s beginner arabic and i already know the language (highkey didn’t want to bother with a different language so i told my advisor that i knew no arabic and couldn’t place into a higher course) (easy A)

hist 301 which is a class that examines the rhetoric that history books use through a case study on the cold war
