And by the way, we shifted successfully. The rain Gods had mercy on us and all my books (and some other useless house stuff :P) were intact. I even found a proper place to keep those books <3
After long, I get that feeling of coming back to kickass reading. Not there yet, but soon soon sooner!

Welcome back, buddy :)
It was pretty boring here, without you...
And Shar buddy and the lurkers were nowhere to be found -_-
Just finished chapter 8. Now onto 9.
I wish I knew a little more about the Thames and it's geography. And same about all those boating terms.
And that German comic song part, my god! That was hilarious :D

Yeah, apparently he worked in a bank, but he didn't take the day off and decided to meet them later at the banks of the Thames. I got confused because of that sleeping part... :/

IKR!!
"Unchristian like feelings of Harris"
And especially when George and Harris are a perfect combo.

Unchristian like feelings! Yes that was the term :D
I'm on Chapter 12... and feel like finishing it off today.

I think that was an implication that he never worked seriously and only slept during working hours. Thats pretty common. You're confused because you haven't started working yet :P

Didn't count.... but looks somewhere between 200-250. With 50 of my precious stashed securely in office desk :)

Finished chapter 10, 11, and 12. Kinda dull, I agree, but few sparks here and there.
I'm 62% done...Will finish it in a day or two.
Roughly 55% in Utmost too.

200-250 (and increasing), wow, that's some impressive numbers.
You get any time for (sneak)reading in the new office?

No breathing time. Its all new stuff so I'm indulging myself to learn as much as possible... and beyond possible :)
After house shift, some breathing time at home as travel time has drastically reduced. Daily morning 1 hour and night 1 hour I'm getting nowadays.
How about you? Any sneak reading other than textbooks?

Phew. First exam today.
3 more left, but there are few days, so I might even try finishing Utmost Happiness. (Did u ask about sneak-reading? :P)
Oh, Three Men, 2 stars (initially 3). The first half was amazing, but the second half was equally disappointing...like the author got bored of something.
Also, it's the most "English" novel I've read so far!!!!!
But I'd like to try the sequel, since it's about a bicycle tour, and I love bicycles. Maybe that one won't be so confusing...:P

You speak my mind, man!
Someone (one of my friend) just dragged me to hell and back for liking and reading Miss Roy and said very offensive things about M. K. Gandhi. Why are people so mean? :( I can't shake these things out of my mind now :/
The discussion started on the rights of Hijra community, and ended upon the Partition and Mahatma Gandhi.

I'd like to try it too... knowing it will have at least a couple of ROFL moments.

Hey, we were supposed to read Oscar Wilde stories....errrr....can we read them in June (most likely) second week? what say Gorab sir?
Gandhi and the same old song... actually there are way too many songs.. and so I was asking which particular rightist song :P
Trunk Full is interesting... but currently its going slow... way too slow... and at times its heavy too... just like an elephant.
Haven't picked it in the last 15-20 days. Its a non-fiction and kinda short episodes. So I do one episode whenever I feel like... and the b0ok is resting in office... will resume when I get some *sneak* reading time :)
Trunk Full and Manto might be carried over to 2019.

Oscar Wilde I had planned to read after shifting to new house. Ready to start it at your clue now.
