Thanks for the picks. There are a few there that grabbed my interest.

I noticed that one of the new to me ones you picked is actually not new to me (Angels at the Table). I actually read this ages ago. It was the first book of Debbie Macomber's that I ever read, and it's the one that got me hooked on her. If I get time that will definitely be one book from your recommendations that I'll be reading. Thanks.

Alexa (psreadthisbook) | 313 comments Since I ended up having two people pick for me, I read a book from each.

From Tammie's picks I read The Trouble with Mistletoe (Heartbreaker Bay, #2) by Jill Shalvis , and from Lekshmy's picks I read Heat Wave by Karina Halle .

I enjoyed both books and gave both a 4 Star rating. Thanks for the wonderful picks ladies. I may try to squeeze in a couple more this month... But the holidays are quickly approaching, and my entire family is flying out here.

No Good Duke Goes Unpunished by Sarah MacLean - This one has been my favorite in the series so far! I really enjoyed Temple and Mara's banter and their quests for redemption.

Between a Vamp and a Hard Place by Jessica Sims - This was a fun read! I will definitely be reading more from this author.

I'm glad you liked it. I am also giving my daughter this book for Christmas, because she loves this period of time!

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi LaurLa,
I have finished two so far, Remember, No Matter What; Chin Up, Tits Out Remember, No Matter What; Chin Up, Tits Out by Miranda Oh and Whiskey Island Whiskey Island by Emilie Richards . The first one was just okay, and did not live up to its title. (Plus there were many, many grammar errors that distracted me when I was reading it.) The second one I LOVED! I had read a few other Emilie Richards' books and enjoyed them, but none as good or as absorbing as this one! Thanks for the nudge to get it read - it had been on my physical, here-at-home TBR shelf for several years. Now I just got out all the other ones I have by her and will be reading them soon.

Thanks for such good picks. I am going to try to get a few more done but with family descending for the holidays, starting tomorrow, I don't know if that will happen. If not, I will definitely be reading a lot of them in the new year.
