Exactly! I do that all the time. But at least Country and Courtney are pretty similar. So it's not that far a stretch.

Bookbuyer wrote: "I totally read this as reading by Courtney. lol. :P"I read it like this too! Glad I wasn't the only one.
Mainly I read books by American and British authors but I have read one by Australian author and I'm reading a book by a French author and starting one by a Canadian author.
I'll have to find the titles and put them up here. The one I am reading is
.
Ok. I'm going to track my reading for this based on where the author is from (where they were born, not necessarily where they currently live). US
36 books, 23 authors (I think)
Jamaica
1 book, 1 author
Bulgaria
1 book, 1 author
Portugal
1 book, 1 author
Canada
4 books, 2 authors
UK
1 book, 1 author
You can include fictional places if you like, it's up for personal interpretation. And I just did this year.
C P wrote: "No way could I go back through all those old ones!"I have some that I've read a lot over the years so I will probably include those. I wouldn't be able to do all the books I ever read though! O.O
Bookbuyer wrote: "What is an Australasian? What country are they from? O.o"I meant Australian but my phone auto corrected to Australasian which I have no clue what or who that is.
C P wrote: "Yeah, that would be crazy. I'm sure you've got way more of them than me though!"So far this year I have about 200 to sort and add and I'll probably add about another 50 or so from past books. :)

I honestly saw it as Australian, haha. Didn't notice it changed. Is that someone who is both Australian and Asian, I wonder?

From Wikipedia:
Australasia, a region of Oceania, comprises Australia, New Zealand, the island of New Guinea, and neighbouring islands in the Pacific Ocean. Charles de Brosses coined the term in Histoire des navigations aux terres australes.

This could be done in a couple of different ways.
*By nationality of author
*By setting of the book
There are probably some other ways to do this, so feel free to interpret it as you like and let us know what you're reading!
