Is on my wish list

message 2358: by Sharon (new)

Sharon | 5466 comments Thanks Brenda. No nor had I until I'd read a few reviews. That's one of the good things about being on Goodreads you find you books and authors all the time. Although sometimes I'm not sure it's such a good thing, but I'm sure there are far worse things we could be doing. At least reading keeps our minds active and we meet and make new friends.

There were people

who would tell her that she shouldn't be doing her job

Plus the whole book (I checked) is written in italics! Has anyone else ever had this problem? It's a first for me!

I emailed them and hope to hear back positively! I wanted to read this book!!

Kerri_M | 590 comments Just finished The War that Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley.

A YA book set in WWII involving children evacuated from London. I enjoyed it as a YA read, and would recommend to any young girls who like horse books as well - it is not totally a horse book, but would have enough to keep them happy I think.

The War that Saved My Life (The War That Saved My Life, #1) by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley ★★★★☆
