People who were planning to join us for book #2 of The Cemetery of Forgotten Books Series, The Angel's Game: we created a thread to decide on the starting date:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
We are planning a buddy read of Wicked Bugs: The Louse That Conquered Napoleon's Army and Other Diabolical Insects. Take a look if you are interested:https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I can, if people are interested in reading it.I've decided that I'm going to participate in the discussion on The Mercies. I've already read it and I think I remember enough about it to discuss it. I'm also going to read The Witch's Heart for the themed read.
Anyone wanna read The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die, The Harry Potter series, Cinder series, Shatter Me series, or The Cruel Prince series with me?
Coco-BLM-007 wrote: "Anyone wanna read The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die, The Harry Potter series, Cinder series, Shatter Me series, or The Cruel Prince series with me?"I can get a copy of The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die from the library in about 4 weeks. If that isn't to long to wait.

Hey! I am planning to read ‘A Place For Us’ and would love to have a buddy for it! Do reach out if you’re interested
There's a series in my bookcase that keeps staring at me: 'Earth's children' by J.M. Auel. Years ago I've read The Clan of the Cave Bear and The Valley of Horses, but I want to read them again and maybe finish the series.I don't know if there's any interest?

I'll join you for Valley of the Horses on
I think on planning it at the beginning of the next year. I've read the first 3 books years ago, but want to start all over again and finish the series. We can read it together, and with others who are interested, after I've finished the first book again?
Saar The Book owl wrote: "I think on planning it at the beginning of the next year. I've read the first 3 books years ago, but want to start all over again and finish the series. I might skip The Valley of Horses as I reread that one for bookclub a couple of years back.
Super, Margo! The more, the merrier. I still need to buy the last book of the series. I'll start the first book somewhere this month and then continue and let you know when I've finished the second if you're going to skip it.
I watched the first episode of The Wheel of Time yesterday and that got me thinking that I really should get to those books. So now I'm considering (not a definite plan yet) starting them in the forseeable future. Anyone interested in joining me (for the next couple of years ;-))?

Lol, I had no idea it was done so recently! If anyone's interested in picking it up from book 2 that's fine too, I'll just need some time to catch up.
It's been on my wishlist for years, and I've been looking for a new series to grab me the way The Realm of the Elderlings. I'd be interested in doing the first book with you, and then the others can pick up with book 2. January could be a write off since I have more medical intervention, and I already have a chunkster buddy read. I would be willing to start it in February, if that works for you.
I'm also looking forward to immersing myself in a whole new world again, and not just for 3 short books. Wheel of Time seems perfect. I'm flexible, February works for me.
I set up a thread, https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...We can discuss details there and it might me more visible for other to join.
I am wanting to read Wuthering Heights right after the toppler so the 12-15th start and want to see if anyone wants to join me?
You may want to rethink reading Wuthering Heights yet. You could use it for the books mentioned in another book. I don’t remember the site, but it is in a list that I posted. I have read it several times.
If anyone would like to join us, we are planning a buddy read of Thunderhead by Douglas Preston beginning around March 10th. This is the first book in the Nora Kelly series. Link to discussion is here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Hm, tempting to read, but I heard it's better to read the Preston and Child series first, because there are references of Nora Kelly in the books. Not sure if it's necessary...

Then, her own spinoff series begins with Old Bones after that.
There was some interest in reading book 2 of Wexfort & Stone, Murder at Half Moon Gate as a buddy read. I'm planning it for one of my September reads, if anyone is interested in joining me for a buddy read.

Go ahead and set up the thread for your buddy read. If you prefer, you could do a new thread for each book, like we are doing for the Daevabad Trilogy. I would just do each book as it's ready rather than setting up a bunch of threads.
You can also do one thread for the entire series if you prefer. We did The Dark Tower series that way. It's your preference.
