Yes indeed Brenda, I read some exceptionally good books during this challenge. Very diverse range too, e.g. from Matthew Reilly to Ron Rash - you couldn't get two books less alike, but I loved them both. Hard pressed to settle on one as the absolute stand-out, but I think the Aussie offerings Salt Creek and Nightingale are neck and neck.

13. TBR Hades 4 ★ Really enjoyed it - can't wait to read the second book as part of the Winter Challenge

You know, I reckon there's enough meat and atmosphere in Salt Creek for a mini-series. There are plenty of intriguing characters and a long time-frame and some great locations - England, Adelaide, Salt Creek. I'm getting excited at the prospect!
