To edit my list, here's my ANZAC one

The ISBN for the Rutherfurd one is 978-0099279082. Thanks for the help!!

And if you edit your original post (if you haven't) you'll be able to add the Les Carlyon one plus the Rutherfurd one too:)

Edward Rutherfurd writes good but mammoth books Linda. I have read Sarum: The Novel of England and Londona a long time ago though.

Jude wrote: "oops, must have mis-read about the colour in the title. I'll move catch-22 up and put The Scarlet Letter as #13"

I've read several of the books on your list Michelle, and I feel sure you're going to have a most enjoyable Autumn of reading.

#5. St Patrick's Day (17th March) - Choose a book with a GREEN COVER OR is set in Ireland/has Irish characters
A Star Called Henry by distinguished Irish author Roddy Doyle. The story takes place at the time of the Easter Uprising in Ireland in 1916. Relevant due to my Irish heritage.
#6. Easter (25th-28th March) - Choose a book that YOU would associate with Easter...explain why you've chosen that particular book
The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell. The drama takes place over the Easter weekend. If my memory serves me correctly, this book was highly rated by Jools recently, so I'd put it on my TBR list.

LOL - my cousins in England had a couple of them as pets - as I said they creeped me out. Now I used to breed Mice for the local petshop for pocket money in my teens- and my kids had Guinea pigs when they were small so don't have a problem with little furry critters - just hamsters!
