I just finished reading
and absolutely loved it. It was very intense and had me on the edge of my seat. I just couldn't put it down. I think this one is among my favorites of the series. Wonder how long I will have to wait for the next one to come out. I am about half way done with
and should be able to finish it by tomorrow. It is a little different from what I was expecting. It has been a little slow for me and really hope it picks up soon.

Yesterday I finished
The Path of the Crooked by Ellery Adams and started
Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb
The books I've read since my last post are The Professor Woos The Witch, Crime Spells, Vulnerable, The Vampire’s Fake Fiancée, Ghosts Of Lovers Past, and Melody of Murder.
I finished listening to Blood Work by Michael Connelly, Harry Bosch Universe #7 and Terry McCaleb #1, and enjoyed this slight diversion from Harry's world. Here's my review.
I'm now listening to Striking Distance by Pamela Clare, I-Team #6.

I am making my way through a 4 book series called Life and Love on the Lam by Juliet Rosetti. I'm reading book 3 now,Tangled Thing Called Love.
Sheri wrote: "that trilogy sounds really good Sandra."
It's a very dark, graphic, sometimes heartbreaking series, Sheri. I love it! lol But I'm drawn to the darker, more intense books with damaged heroes. This is the final book in the trilogy...just released today. It is not for the faint of heart for sure.

I've been re-visiting my childhood by reading a series that I discovered when I was in middle school (I think):
The Dark is Rising: The Complete Sequence
I'm currently reading That's Not My Name by Yvonne Navarro. A woman is abducted by a man who thinks she's his wife and is suffering from amnesia. So far I've been enjoying it.
I'm still working on Rock Chick Reckoning
by Kristen Ashley on my kindle and I've started Spider's Bite
by Jennifer Estep in paperback.
I've finished The Witch's Halloween Hero, The Werewolf's Christmas Wish, A Vampire's Valentine Surprise, and At Wolf Ranch.
Okay... I have been a "member" of Goodreads for years but not active until last year. In 2015, I tried the reading challenge and read so many different types of books -- some that I absolutely loved and some that I didn't so much.I vowed to get all the way through the In Death Series this year. I am still a bit slow on the reading process but would like to change that.

It's a fantastic series. I set of goal of 300 books for the 2016 reading challenge myself and have completed 262 so far this year.
I've completed 2 more books in the last 2 days, When It's Right and Her Lucky Cowboy
I just finished
. I liked it, but not as much as some of the others in the series. I did like that she went undercover as an Amish widow in upstate New York. Maybe I have set the bar too high for this author, based on previous books.....?
Just finished reading Night and Day by Iris Johansen. it was awesome. once again I was not disappointed. I love the Eve Duncan Series. The only sad part is knowing that it will be a while before the next book comes out. Also finished reading Twisted by Cynthia Eden and really enjoyed it. I am loving the Lost series.
Now I believe I will finally start Cold Pursuit.
I finished Bound by Flames by Jeaniene Frost, Night Prince #3, and am glad I waited until closer to the final book's release date. So much happens here that it will be fresh. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Stranded with the Scottish Earl by Anna Campbell.

I've only read the first couple of books in this series, Charlene. But I loved them & hope to work it back into my monthly reading schedule soon.

Love the Night Prince series! Really hated that the 4th book got pushed back to next Feb. - even though I understand the reasons.

Another good reading week for me. First I read
All Fall Down by Stacy Green. This is the last book in her Lucy Kendall series and my favorite. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I also read
Blood Work by Michael Connelly. This is my first Michael Connelly book that wasn't part of the Harry Bosch series. It's a winner. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Right now I'm reading Panic Attack by Jason Starr. I'm finding it to be an excellent psychological thriller.
I just finished The Night Stalker by Chris Carter. The author of this series can really come up with very sick and twisted ways to kill people.
I finished Stranded with the Scottish Earl by Anna Campbell and really enjoyed this short Cinderella story. Here's my review.
I'm now reading The Secrets She Kept by Brenda Novak, Fairham Island #2.

She explained everything that has happened to her & her family in a post awhile back. Very sad & difficult times. Sometimes, it's easy to forget that authors have "real lives" & families too - have everyday issues/losses to deal with just like everyone else.
