Re: theater productions - other than Murder/Announced, it's been some time since I've been. As you lot have been more recently, can you recall if productions you've seen were played out in multiple backgrounds/stages or pretty much just one.
It's amazing how a full production can be played out in just one backdrop/setting like this adaptation of Murder/Announced that I just enjoyed. BTW, it was pretty good. Hope this venue offers more mysteries.

Jus' the facts, ma'am...um, PI's. Before Halloween gets here, I'd love if you'd visit The Parlor's main page (just once is fine) and check out main masthead. That Bud...masthead's for you. Just a little something but-- Thanks!

Tee, hee, Nicoles. Thanks for the look-see. Xavier was getting lonely without you PI's. ;-)

Oh, yeah, Nicoles, we did read 1st in the series. And thanks for the link, Nicole.

Hmm? Testing, testing. Tried to post a new thread and nada. And, of course, I lost my post info. Arrgh. Just trying this out.

Thanks, PI's. Now if only I can get a new thread hoisted successfully. Waiting to hear from GR's admin.

Agatha Raisin starts new season on Nov. 19. Trying to find it on listing but it's not coming up on our TV guide. Hope we'll get it. Anyone watching Women In White? It's another mystery mini series on pbs.

Nicole, I've read one or two in this series in the past. It was quite enjoyable, so I would be up to consider this book in the future.

Great! This is the first in the series.

I'm sooooooo excited for Agatha's return!

Yeah, try to find it somewhere, Nicole. Was to air tomorrow yet a few of us cannot find it on our local listings or anywhere.
Stumbled upon The Snoop Sisters mysteries, a blast from the past. Still, it's good; sweet, innocent murder! lol

I'm not terribly fond of watching TV things on the computer, but I might be willing to give Agatha a try. Let me know where you find it.

It's on Acorn TV, Mark.

Yep, Acorn. Parlor techies, I was told there's the HDMI? cable and one can hook it to TV easily. But on Acorn's site, it mentions mo. subscription. I figure one would need that subscription to view their programming via this cable. Would that be correct? I know there's a free trial but I don't want to get involved w/that. And I doubt they would just fork over free viewing. Anyone know about that? Do you feel a person would need to subscribe to Acorn to get Agatha? I just cannot afford another subscription nor do I want one. :-/

We dont' have cable so we hooked up a computer to our living room tv. I'm not sure how my husband did it but it involved a few million wires LOL It's nice that we can watch "tv" without it really being tv!

No cable bill! Sounds like you have it made, NicoleG! I'm a news hound so it may not work for this household. lol

Good to know, NicoleG. Sometimes it is hard to get out of the trial offers but this sounds easy enough. Also, inexpensive if one wants to subscribe for just a few months. Thanks.

Reading a fun yet legit cozy called A Murderous Valentine where a retired military curmudgeon sets out for a romantic holiday with his GF only to unknowingly book into a murder mystery dinner affair. That much is revealed in synop so I'm not spoiling. You Kindle Unlimiteds get this one free. Check it out and see what you think.

Yes, it is. Have you read any Shackleford books? I just discovered him under short Valentine mystery search and it came up. I think there's a second book but not sure after that.
Nicole, I do get one free Kindle borrow a month. Just have to remember to return when I'm finished.

One thing to note, Nicole, the Admiral likes to say, "Bloody" quite a bit. Other than that, nothing lacking that I can tell. :-)

Lol! Sounds typically Brit. Btw, I haven't read any of the others in this series. :D

It is typical Brit, Nicole, but in this case, the over-use is a bit much. Thought I'd sound a warning. lol
This is my first Schackleford and I'll probably read more. :-)

Finished Valentine short story, Nicole and just to note, there are links to a Shackleford prequel series. I just skimmed it so I'm not sure if it is mysteries or drama should anyone be interested.

Seen the movie, Nicole. Probably will pass on the book. So much new stuff out there to catch up on. :-)

I'm reading (well, listening to it!) now. I'm going to Savannah in April and want to read it before I go. Apparently it's the thing to do, lol, but I'm not sure yet. :D

Always wanted to visit, Nicole, but never got there. Hey, there's suppose to be a haunted historic district there. Some ghost group did a show on it; was interesting. Even if not into the ghost thing, the story behind it is pretty interesting. I'm sure a tour guide would know more. If I find the segment it was covered on, I'll send you link. If you like.

Nicole, should be able to find it here along with other neat stuff on the city. The TV program is called The Wraith Chasers. Enjoy.
