Thanks, Jill. I need to watch the TV movie or series. Not sure what format it'll air as. I better get the schedule before it comes and goes without me knowing wha' happened. Time seems to be flying by faster lately. I try to remind myself to savor every minute.

This one looks good: The Woman In the Window.

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments Did anyone see the new Aurora Teagarden movie on Sunday? Or have plans to watch Emma Fielding this weekend?

Yup that's on my list!
I just finished Friend Request and also have The Girl in the Ice from the library. I'm currently reading a cozy on my phone (when I have spare time at work) and will start our book later in the week.
I've only seen one Aurora Teagarden movie but I'd love to see more. I'm not familiar with Emma Fielding.

Missed it but hope to catch a re-airing some time soon. And I do hope to catch the new Emma Fielding. But, my heart sinks every time I see another mystery with protag tearing out a wall revealing a secret behind it. That's too similar to my book and screenplay that I've written over a decade ago. Arrgh!!

Maybe we can do it (Woman/Window) as a side read, NicoleG. Girl In/Ice also sounds interesting.

PI's we've sort of put the birthday "club" on back burner as it got a bit complicated, ex. when we had three BDays in March and then Dec. is a popular month for Christmas mysteries and we all like to vote on title. So, should we revise it or just keep our celebrations to wishing each other well on their day? What say you all?

I'm thinking on this one right now. Will post my vote later today.

message 609: by Nicole (new)

Nicole (nicolevickers) | 1814 comments I (one of the aforementioned March birthdays - lol!) am perfectly happy with just a general vote every month and skipping the birthday choices. :-)

I'm leaning towards that as well, Nicole. If there was a BD per month, that'd work out fine and be fun but best laid plans--

I'll second just keeping it a general title vote but of course, acknowledge each others special day. ;-)

message 611: by Allison (new)

Allison | 905 comments I'll go with the general vote also.

General vote is probably better. I understand that there is a new movie tomorrow (Sunday) on the Hallmark Mystery channel, if any of you get that (I don't).

It's the 2nd Emma Fielding movie. I'll be watching and report back in! ;-)

I'll be watching and I caught the re-air of Teagarden and loved the film backdrop.

Mini-spoiler -- I never suffer cast changes gladly! And what's up with Ro's beau's new mission? :-/ Don't want to spoil so I'll leave it there.

Victoria was a two episode broadcast. I love when they do that.

Mini spoiler - I'd no idea re: "li'l" secret about Victoria's hubby, Prince Albert. Wow. Wonder if it's a historical fact?

We'd a party interested in joining The Parlor but she had an MSN e-mail addy and couldn't get in. I thought MSN was a universal server and qualified. Anyway, she was able to place a few GR reviews and like what she saw in our group and will keep trying. ;-)

Nicoles, it's been a long time since I've joined but I recall something about some e-mail servers/accounts not qualifying for membership signup. Forget how that went but I can suggest her trying another server. I'll see if she wants to do that. Would be nice to have her onboard. Seems like PI material. Thanks for feedback.

Thanks, NicoleG. I'll try it out when I get on my trusty computer. iPad doesn't get me into all functions on GR for some reason. then again, it's old and I haven't done all updates. I'm told it's obsolete already.

Q for smartypantphone peeps re: G-mail phone acct. - As for their Share option, is that to enable e-mail? Share on one site might mean something totally different on another. Language is not universal; each site has own jargon. I'm trying to set up
e-G-mail acct. and I think I might've disabled option inadvertently. Would love your 2 cents on the issue. Thanks!

Nicole, I believe we read one sometime ago. Not sure if it was the first, Still Life or Brutal Telling...something? I've read five or six in the series. Also watched the movie based on Still Life.
