This is my favorite task!
Examine the masterpieces listed by Jonquil. Choose one and think of a name or caption for it. Locate and read a book with the title you imagined. You may select one of the images for two different books. Books may be fiction or nonfiction.
I choose Renoir's painting:
"Two Young Girls at the Piano"
That picture grabbed ahold of me and made me long to be back at my childhood home. My caption is simply Home
My sister and I spent years at the piano together growing up, there wasn't much else to do when the work was all done on our family farm. We both became professional pianists as adults.
We got to play together again last month, what lovely memories that brought back. Although we don't fit together on the piano bench quite as well as we used to :)

How I miss my family. My grandparents and parents and aunts and uncles are long gone now, and my cousins live far away. But my sister just moved up where I live, I am very happy about that!

Music is a big part of all our family parties. This Thanksgiving, we had our kids and my sister and her family all up. We had piano, a bass guitar, a rhythm guitar, a ukulele, a wicked lead guitar and gorgeous harmonizing. God is good.
