10.4 C’est On? I read Cluny: In Search of God's Lost Empire by Edwin Mullins. Cluny once was the grandest monastery in all of Europe. Today, besides a few scraggly ruins, all that is left is a small town of 4,000 people near the Swiss border in France.
15.10 Reason to Party. I read The Ritual Bath by Faye Kellerman. I started this thinking I would use it for 10.3 because it held the word “Bath,” just as Renoir’s painting “After the Bath.” But then I realized that particular painting’s name was not on the approved list! Bummer. Luckily The Ritual Bath is first in a series, so it fits here. Reason to Party!
