Happy Anniversary.....Lorrea
From tomorrow I will be offline for five days.
Two reasons, computer repairs, problems with computer turning itself off, going into a blue screen.
And also going away for five days, flying to Southampton, shopping, show (Jersey Boys) etc..
A celebration, as shortly our 39th wedding anniversary on 29th March

It's good to have you back, Sean! It sounds like you had a good time while you were away.
Happy birthday Christine..
Yes jersey Boys was great, the second time we have seen them, also saw them in London.

Tracey, my wife treated us to our/her retirement present...
A New car, for one of the first times in our life we went in and bought our car... A Mercedes B Class.
My new toy/baby arrived home today, my wife has worked her whole life, 42 years in one job and deserves this present, although I am enjoying it more and all the many extras....
Hot seat, my back still feels lovely and warm.
A real lifetime treat, and yes my wife is loving being retired after 4 weeks busy every day.
Selling fruit/strawberry plants everyday.

Congratulations on your wife’s retirement and your new ride. My Dad 83 has retired for the fourth or fifth time last week. We’ll see how long this time lasts lol. He doesn’t do well with nothing to keep him busy. He already told his job that he’ll be happy to take some jobs occasionally in the fall but he wants the summer off to enjoy golfing.
Retirement means spend time doing the things you enjoy...
Some love their work and enjoy...
My mind and body is very active, but I need more time to do the things I want to do, many think or say to me...
"I don't want to retire and do nothing"
Well the easy answer is don't do nothing. My wife is up 7.00 (I am up 5.30 a.m) every morning and busy all day, non stop till 4.00(picking me up from work), then we are both busy till 9.00 pm, when we do relax and watch some TV, then read.
Retirement means, playing tennis 2-3 times a week, snooker 1-2 a week, padel tennis once a week, walking for 2-4 hours every day.
Charity work helping at the Zoo, charity work at our local animal shelter, gardening every day, reading 2-3 books a week, more gardening, every day housework. Music while walking, as I love my music. Travelling to the UK by boat with the car see family.
So I am ready. Work is just work, pays the bills but is not exciting, after 45 years.
I will retire as soon as I can, we will see how my wife gets on first.

Please help. I’ve added a friend and have realized they are not a true person. I can’t figure out how to delete a friendship.
