Faucet joints are in your spinal column and allow you to twist and turn. They become a source of pain when the cartilage between them deteriorates.

Yes, arthritis, but mainly stiff muscles.

Slowly getting better.

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? (whatchatreadin) So sorry to hear all of this Sean. When I worked in a Dr's office DVT is something we saw a lot of. Do you have to get constant blood work along with the blood thinners?

Prayers for a healthy outcome!

No, lots of blood thinners...

And this caused me to be in hospital last night for four hours !!

The Burning lungs and chest pains I was worrying about, and slowing me down so much(felt like an old man)....

Results from last night an evening on a drip of painkillers and antibiotics. Caused by a reaction to all the tablets I am taking, causing "G.O.R.D" ?

A reaction to all the drugs causing and inflamed lungs with sickness, breathless breathing and burning painful heart burn constantly.

Today feeling much better and on more tablets to stop the effects of the other tablets!!

While collecting my new tablets today from the hospital, my car broke down !! (new battery fitted after being towed back to Honda Garage)

Has to rush to get a taxi to take me in five minutes to physciotherapy a mile away ! Just made it !!

My wife was at home on a day off today, and had her own stress, as they realised the new fridge /freezer was too big to get into our house!!

They spent four hours, taking the new doors off before able to get it in !!

What a day !!

Good News X Rays showed last night blood clots gone from my lungs, and both lungs and heart are great.

Good news have a new Fridge /Freezer

Bad News, not connected to pipes for water yet!

Good news... New bed arrived tomorrow, waited 12 weeks.

Bad News have to go and pay for the new bed

Good news... no fitters, electrician, plumbers in my house for at least 10 days as we wait for the work top to be made...

Bad news ... No hob till worktop made...

Good news... feeling much better and slowly clearing all the boxes everywhere !

The GORD, aka GERD, is acid reflux. That's what burns your gullet. Sounds like the docs have it under control.

Good luck to you.

Hiya Sean, I just wanted to wish you good thoughts in feeling better and getting back to yourself. I've been feeling pretty rubbish with worries of work, and how little of it there is, but you've really helped put things into perspective.
The nurse on my Dad's ward in hospital would always sing"Things are gonna get better" -I'm sure she's right.
Take care!

Rhonda Lee Wunder | 386 comments Sorry to hear about all illness and hope you are on the mend soon. My doctor always asks me if I look forward to things in the future. I say I do. She says that looking toward the future helps depression. Think when everything is resolved you can look back on all the bad things and forward to all the good things.

Thanks again everyone..

On the steps to getting better.

Especially on the tablets to stop the burning chest/asthma like effects.

So done a few things, and last two days done some short walks.

Sharon Mccall hello long time no post!

its been a long process to get to the point where I feel like I am getting back to myself then something seems to come along and knock me back, unfortunately the illness I had before Christmas seems to have taken more out of me than i had first thought and i have been working to get back to full fitness. then i lost one of my cats. he was 17 and just old but it was still hard to lose him. he was my little hug a bug and there is a huge hole in the house that he filled. one of my other cats has been sick he has been suffering badly with hairball but i think we are finally coming out the other side of that. The dog is driving me nuts as he has taken to pacing all day or wanting to lie outside in all weathers and just generally being a pest. then i have the same fight every day with another cat over the chair! Other than that life is pretty quiet. just working away playing hockey and continuing to test myself at crossfit.

hope u all well

s

My cats mean the world too me.

I know how it breaks your heart when you lose one.

My thoughts are with you Sharon.

Happy to hear from you.

I am feeling a little better as well, and out walking now.

Three/four miles a day at the moment.

Working on finishing my garden today and tomorrow.

Taken 7 weeks on and off with the weather.

Keeping busy with walking, washing, drying, doctors, back treatment. Diabetes has been very bad, around 19 or 20 sugars, cannot control unless longer walks.

Feeling a bit better now, out walking, up to 4 to 5 miles a day.

Also happy as garden finished completely.

And worktop in the kitchen went in, and now a new sink and new hob all connected.

Looking lovely. Just waiting for tiles to come and put up, and to be decorated and the extractor fan and splash back.

Off for one more week.

Yes, went out for a lot of pub dinners, but thought I would be happy, but just wanted one night to stay in and have a ordinary meal..

Showed, that going out is nice when it is a treat, and not all the time, when it becomes too much and expensive.

But nearly there, not much left and really happy with the look.

My wife let me pick the floor colour and the work top colour, I am happy as is the wife Tracey !

Nearly done for our anniversary next week.... 37 years !!

And I am off, while my wife will be at work !

Amber Martingale Good point, Kirsten: "Funnily enough, we have Trump to thank for the failure of so-called Trumpcare."

My Dad's aunt Betty, though she's 93, lacks the common sense to see that Trump was and IS bad news not just for the US but for the whole damn planet.

message 9185: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kmcripn) True, I heard someone on NPR who is giving Trump the benefit of doubt because as he said "I don't think he's a liar". WTF???????

Go to your friends list.

Find under his name, go to edit, it allows you to unfriend them.

I have done this and recently reported two (ladies?) that asked me to be a friend with a link.....

That link was a sex site of sorts !

Good reads are blocking them as this is spam friending.

If as above is missing it could be he has been blocked.

Today, after a while of hesitating with my health.

Have now booked our trip for 6 days in London, taking my sister-in-law Linda with us and treating her for her 60th birthday.

The hotel we are staying at

www.lemeridienpiccadilly.co.uk

Are going to do her a 60th birthday cake in her room as a surprise.

Then on the first night Saturday 1st July taking her to see her very first show... Mamma Mia (she loves the film)

Then on the Sunday and Monday taking her to Kensington Palace to see Princess Diane clothes, Buckingham Palace, also want to go on the London Eye, shopping in Covent Garden.

I think she is doing well, for her birthday...

But then on the Tuesday we are taking her to meet her brother in law at Gatwick (Premier Inn for one night) On Wednesday (and she does not know this) she is going to "Venice" for five days, paid for by her brother in law.

I think she is doing very, very well...

Sadly she lost her Mum and Dad (my wife's Mum and Dad) when they were both in their mid twenties.

Then Linda(sister in law) lost her son in a car accident(like her mum and dad) Peter when he was 24 years old(our godchild).

Then Linda lost her partner of 35 years, when he suddenly died of a heart attack aged 55 years old, 4-5 years ago.

So a tough life, lost her home and now lives in rented states(council) flat, and on income support.

So hopefully I will be okay and fit and healthy, and on blood thinners now for life to stop any more DVT's.

I currently have a friend request from this person. They have been on Goodreads since 2009 but have zero books read, to read, reviewed, or owned. They only had one friend the other day, I see that some people have accepted friend requests because they are up to 3 now. They are following a ton of people though. Plus the about category, by itself not a problem but with the other info, is in a language that I cannot read. Might be Russian.

Haven't accepted for the simple reason something feels hokey.
