Welcome to our first quarterly reading challenge in this group!


Here in Aussie it is summer so (wherever you live) we challenge you to choose six books which together spell out the word SUMMER.

* All six books must be from the genres relevant to this group Crime/Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

* You can use the first letter of the title or of the author's first or last name. For titles you may choose to ignore the first article (the, a)

I was going to use Under the Knife for U but then I went with Lisa Unger instead because I already have her book.
It is hard to resist a binge on crime novels in't it!

I already had Under the Knife but I did think of Lisa Unger as well since I like her books. All of mine are books I already have and want to read anyway so this is a perfect challenge! Thank you mods!

Phrynne, I've only read one other of his but found it quite good. But it is pretty graphic and gritty. Brenda this one came out in 2013 I think. I've had it on my shelves for ages. Hopefully I'll finally read it for this challenge.

well.....I've listened/read one of the books on my summer reading list and found it to be really good. The diggers rest hotel. I'll add more about it on the weekend. but I can say it is definitely worth a read. I'll be giving it a 4 or 5.
