A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail by Bill Bryson
This book had these 3 features:
A. Adventure
C. Humor
E. History
I read this book because I saw the movie and it was very funny. The book had lots of humor to but it told the history behind the Appalachian Trail ( or the AT as its referred to in the book. It involved adventure as they never knew what was around the next bend, what the weather would do or who they might end up sharing a shelter with. It makes one want to go and hike at least part of the AT yourself!
