Hmm, difficult to say. I thought it was boring when I read it alone before my class on it started. But later when we analyzed it in class some things I didn't think were important really made sense, and it got more interesting.
Still, it is not the kind of book I enjoy usually.

I also can't set Reliquary aside. Can't bear the thought of break Steven's heart for ignoring a series again.

Anytime, Sonia :) I hope all goals are correctly claimed!
I think I won't be able to read at my usual pace these upcoming days as I am bit busier until Sunday, but I'll surely do my best to finish my books before the end of Round :)
Let's keep reading, teamies! We are doing great!

Vicky/Apoorv, would you like me to continue posting in both this group and Crixus? Or is posting here enough?

- Read a book where characters go to the movies

I'll search trough my Kindle if I can find a book where the characters go to see a movie...

It was nice (although pretty hot).
Knight tournament and fights looked pretty cheap. I guess I am spoiled by sf effects in movies. :)
But I loved old crafts display. They had little shops where you could watch how different items were made: chain-mail, embroidering, shoes...

P.S. This is a really cute book.

Cool.
I keep getting it recommended... maybe I should up it on my list

So, usually I have the task of naming and getting images for the teams(with the exception of tower teams) and I made the mod squad a promise that we would have spartacus cast as teams if the gladiator games won
yes, I warn them with plenty of time to get used to the idea, since Karen didn't let me use the arrow picture I wanted for the first wheelathon
Meaning, I'm having a lot of fun trying to choose the hottest and meaner heroes for teams names (Yep, round III already have images and all *giggles*)

Well, I staked my claim (as did Tea) so, yeah.

Oh yeah, right... Well... I didn't choose a favorite author, but a favorite army... there is something about those fighters that... enthralls... maybe it's their mythology... don't know... but they are a favorite of mine so... sorry... I'm a dictator!
(Plus Tea would kill me if I stole Attila from her, we already had words because of Kili... so... better relent on this one.)
