Haha, looks like we are getting every day of the months :p
Drats! The book I'm currently reading was published on the 12th
I am going to re-read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.This would work for a book title starting with H or the 2007 best sellers as the boxed set of the series is currently #53. I think that is correct.
I will be finished soon-an hour or two. I am curious if it will be appropriate to read it to my niece, so I had planned a re-read anyway.

I'm almost done with Hyperversum for the book with H title, so we can use Harry Potter for the 2007 bestseller goal if that's okay for you too, Kate :)
Perfect, I was just looking at something I could read quickly to knock off at least one of the goals. Glad you have something going.
Apoorv and I just filled in a new tab (Goalless Books) on the Crixus spreadsheet with all of the Achilles books that have not yet been used for goals. We've listed authors, original publication dates, cover colors, genres, characters, settings and series. (Sonia, feel free to add to this as well!) I figured this would be a good way for us to see if something quickly qualifies for a task - since I know I've been clicking on the link for each book every time we got a new goal and it's getting old fast, lol. I figure we can continue using it when we merge again, as having it all in one place is convenient. If we use a book for a goal we'll remove it from this list so we don't get confused later.
We've gleaned what we could from the book summaries - but book summaries aren't very comprehensive, so any info you can give us as you post your read books is helpful! Especially if you come across any any rare vegetables. ;)

Regarding The Discovery of Chocolate I found many fruits/vegetables words which I jotted down but forgot to share: onions, (pepper)mint, peas, strawberry, tomatoes and watermelons. :)
And forgot to mention that it has 12 chapters, it is mainly set in Spain (Seville) and Mexico, and that there's a female main character called Quiauhxochitl (the protagonist also calls her Ignacia). I think that's all :D
As we move into Week # 4, quick update from the Master Spreadsheet POV,
We started this Round as Number # 2, unfortunately we have dropped down to the second last position (mostly coz of those publication date goals.. oh, I am beginning to hate those).. but I am pretty sure we can catch up and race ahead.
But what really matters is that we all are enjoying ourselves. So hopefully you all are having fun.. coz I certainly am !

There was a book on the cover of The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner, so I relinquished that goal to Kate and we got a new one! Here's the updated goals:We knocked out two more goals, here's the update! :D

I have Station Eleven to pick up from the library and it contains "whole nine yards." No promises on how fast I'll read it, because it's looking to be my second 50 hour work week in a row... but if no one else gets there first, I've got it covered! :D

I can read either The 19th Wife first published August 5, 2008 (I think) or Easy by Tammara Webber (title beginning with E) next. I am in the middle of Under the Wide and Starry Sky right now, but it is due back at the library tomorrow. I may or may not be able to finish it before I need to drop it off. Either way, I can start one of these two books at some point tomorrow.
The 19th Wife looks good for the 5th, whichever you prefer! :D
I am starting with Easy because it is a library book (and I think it will be the faster read). But I still have The 19th Wife and can start it tomorrow if the publication date of the 5th goal is still open.

That is sad. I gave it to my cousin and she liked it a lot BUT, she also read it before Graceling. I didn't know it was a series at the time.

Well, I couldn't really get into the story, which is really sad because I LOVED Graceling. I was a bit preoccupied yesterday. One of my cats wasn't feeling so well. She is 19 so it got me really scared. My mom went to the vet with her, now we are waiting for the results of some blood test.
I think I'll give it another try another time.
I wanted to finish the trilogy this month but I think it will wait.
Oh no... I hope it all turns up good with her. 19? Nice age. My Simba is 8.
