I'll do my best. Or you want to roll (since you got hang of it)? ☺

It was more business then pleasure trip. I was on the nearby mountain working on the project. Plenty of lectures and some 'free' time for hiking. All lectures were 'if you want' but it turned out for everybody else but two of us working. We had to be there all the time, which means my day was 6am-10pm. First two days we had snow (pretty shocking since week before that (and now) had almost summer temperatures). ☺
It was fun but tiring.

Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega #1) by Patricia Briggs

I've 'read' audio book of this one to be faster and I think it went badly. I've spent most of the book trying to figure out who's who and what's going on then I really enjoyed the book. I know what happened, but it looks like I missed why. ☺
I think, before going on next in series, I'll reread this one.

I really like this book. It is about Alexia Tarabotti who was born with out a soul and has to deal with various supernatural characters. I had a hard time getting into this book but after about fifty pages I was so in to it. I really like that it was a steam punk book. It was my first one and now I really interested in the genre. I also love the relationship of Alexia and Lord Maccon. I will definitely read the other books of this series.

Different twist on any time travel I've read before. At parts I couldn't put it down. Shawn one Of the mc's was a despicable person for 3/4 of the book and ruined it some for me. The story was about his growth into being a better person but dang if it didn't take forever to get there!

Read Haunted Ground (Nora Gavin, #1) by Erin Hart Haunted Ground by Erin Hart
Series Nora Gavin #1
Finished: 4/2/14
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
An intriguing mystery! It captivated me on the very first page. As history & science came together to undercover a mystery from the far past to reveal a mystery of the present. Nora and Cormac were great characters. It was fascinating to learn about the history of "The Bog Bodies of Ireland" and the peat bogs perservative qualities. A really good read!

*bows head in shame* Sorry guys!

We are on spot 75 so we can read 5th, 7th or 75th book in series, or white cover.

(If you are reading alternative, be sure to link right edition.)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments Hmm Kim that's more pink than white. We could still have a shot at it if team 2 doesn't finish on time, pretty unlikely but you never know.

Read Clarity (Clarity, #1) by Kim Harrington by Kim Harrington
Finished: 4/4/14
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
For a YA with little paranormal in it I really enjoined this. The mystery aspect kept me turning the pages and I really liked Clare. The descriptions were good too. I've never been to Cape Cod but I could really visualize it while reading. For sure and easy and fast read with a decent plot. Would recommend it!

Dust to Dust (Diane Fallon Forensic Investigation #7) by Beverly Connor

Title: Dust to Dust
Author: Beverly Connor
Series: Diane Fallon #7
Read date: 05.04.14
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
This was interesting. Diane is helping friend investigating a case that was ruled as accident by cops. At the same time CSI team is investigating scene where archaeologist was attached because she found some interesting shards in her backyard. In the end they end up solving 50+ -year old crime.
It was fun book, but unlike previous books in series, there was no 'museum part' in it, only CSI. I missed that.
Two more books left to read. ☺

Read: Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Alt: white cover
Finished: 4/5/14
Rating: 3.5 ★★★
Review:
At first I didn't think I was going to like this book. But after setting aside the foul language and focusing on what the story was trying to say. I couldn't help getting involved with Eleanor and Park. Two teenagers, two misfits, who found, tried to understand, and learned to treasure each other.
Some of the themes that were dealt with were: bullying, physical and emotional abuse, and self-esteem (lack of it), friendship and of course First-Love. It has a Romeo and Juliet kinda-feel to it.
Plan on getting your hanky ready. You'll need it (tear-jerker)! A real surprise of a book! I'm glad I read it.

The Keepsake (Rizzoli & Isles #7) by Tess Gerritsen

Read: The Keepsake by Tess Gerritsen

7th book

Finished: 4/5/14
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
A creepy interesting book. This book is apart of the Rizzoli & Isles seris. The books are very different then the tv seris but still good. this one is about museum finding a mummy that turns out to be modern-day murder victim. I love all the archaeology stuff in the book. The family that is involved in the case is so intresting I would read a book about them alone.

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 7439 comments We're all in now. Team 2 still has a review to go. If they're not finished by midnight we can roll and make a push for the win. Of course it'd mean all of us would have to be done before they were.
