I had contacted the authorities, but I will remove my complaint. I would be better pacified if you rolled a "1" on Saturday/Sunday (no pressure of course)

I watched all seasons of CSI so I know what's going on there.
Nah, I'm joking. I'll pack my bags and go camp in front of Embassy to get my visa. ☺

It's good book and it keeps me interested (lights-out was somewhere after 3am - so I actually did read something today! One-more-chapter syndrome. ☺)

This book was about a women with two kids who just got a divorce when her ex left to be with the nanny. She lost her job where she worked with him. Living with her mom she gets news that she inherited a funeral home in Florida. This book follows her journey after that. I enjoyed this book. It was a great inspirational fiction book. Hard to get into but after about fifty pages you really care about this family.

I just love this book series. This time Hannah has to figure out who killed Reverend Matthew Walters. A childhood friend of Reverend Bob, who came to town to take over the services, so Bob and his wife Claire could go on their long-awaited honeymoon.
There's also a new dentist in town, Dr. Beverly, an old girlfriend from Norman's past and Hannah's jealous. Is Hannah's lovelife in trouble or is Dr. Beverly trouble? Dr. Beverly not only seeing Norman again but Mike too. What's up with those too dating the same girls?
As usual, the ends and outs at the Cookie Jar are amusing ,the recipes are delicious and the end had a great cliff-hanger.

Another great installment! Once again Jim had me lol'ing throughout the book. I think this one takes the cake for how much trouble Aisling can get into. I know she's never going to catch a break but jeez she never got out of trouble this one. Drake finally made me not want to kill him at times in this one too. Jim steals the show in this series, he's like the dark brother to Oberon. I absolutely love him.

I was little lost at the beginning of this book. Previous ones were pretty connected and with this one I had feeling I'm reading it out of order. I did check couple of times if I'm reading right book. :P What was confusing me is that between last and this book, Diane lost one of her jobs - she wasn't working for crime lab any more. And unlike previous books this one wasn't split up between museum and crime lab, but all 'problems' were connected to crime lab (they call it in museum 'The dark side' - it so funny every time I read it. In one book they even put Darth Vader on the door with a sign Personnel Only ☺).
OK back to this one. After few chapters Diane is back in crime lab and everyone are happy again (except bad guys). This one was pretty interesting book, and things kept happening and I had trouble putting it down.
Favorite part was when Diane had HAL-like experience with computer. I'm not sure who's reaction was funnier (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I got it too. ☺

Please, read carefully and take notes about investigation techniques. You know, just in case. ☺

This vampires are not what we are used to (no, not sparkling! ☺). They are descendants from aliens who came to Earth long, long time ago. Since they are all males, they need special type of woman to mate, so called Breedmates, which are recognized by specific birthmark. Dante belongs to Warriors - they fight 'bad' vampires (rogues) and are trying to keep us humans unaware of their existence. Tess is veterinarian with special gift - she can heal with her hands. (All breedmates have some kind of special gift.) To make things interesting, her ex is drug dealer who produces and sells special drug that turns 'normal' vampires into rogues.
All in all it was typical paranormal/vampire romance. Lots of fighting and blood, some love and biting, and of course disbelieve about vampire existence.
These are fun and quick reads so I'm continuing with series. ☺

another thing, this books really separates that similarity from BDB because Book 1 had me giving Lara Adrian the side eye.
I hope you enjoy the series.

Well, BDB was first paranormal series I've read so they did stick in my head.
I keep wondering reading Lara Adrian, why this vampires don't have humans helping during the day like in BDB. It would be so much easier for them when women freak out and run away during the day and then get in trouble with bad guys. It's so hard being knight in shining armor if you need to wait specific time of the day to go to the rescue. ☺
Now, I can't wait to read 3rd. Maybe I should roll 1 so I have reason to read it immediately. ☺

BDB was my first series after Twilight as well. that's why I can't move on.

I may be away for 3 rolls starting next weekend (23rd). I found out there is possibility I'll have to go to let's call it field trip. If I go, I will have access to internet but only in the evening when I'm back, so maybe you should make those rolls. Also I'm not sure if I'll have laptop or only tablet with me and I have no idea how to make links on tablet. ☺

This was decent, I wasn't blown away though. The world building is interesting but I'm not in love with the characters. It's been a very long time since I read the first one so I was a tad confused as to who was who etc. It is a decent series but there are better PNR books out there.
