I had it on my TBR for far too long. This is a great book and the pages turn easily and the night-time read can go long! I loved it. Make it your next book.

I've updated message 295.

I've read Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut as a bonus book and The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham as one of the planned books.

I don't think I'll be able to read the two other planned books this year, but since I've read the amount of books I was supposed to read as bonus books, I'll consider this challenge a succes.

I do expect to read at least one more bonus book of this list, though.

I liked it! It was fun to see how the author managed to incorporate a few recipes. And I loved how Tita managed to get back on top of things every time life put her down. Didn't think Pedro deserved to eat her food though, what a whimp.
