I'm kidding, lol. Its about these siblings- Violet, Klaus and Sunny. They're orphans after their parents burned in a fire and this weird dude named Olaf is basically stalking them and always after them because he wants the money their parents left behind when they died. So the siblings go through a series of unfortunate events starring Count Olaf, the stalking creep!

I read, like, half the first one. So weird. I had no idea what was going on. Like, what????

message 2203: by [deleted user] (new)

I like Klaus because he likes books and Sunny because she was a weird baby. Count Olaf was like a creep to me, I hated him.

message 2204: by [deleted user] (new)

You have to get used to the books. They're complicated but after you read them for some time, they get awesome and scary.

Parker I think I picked one up once and Olaf was trying to trick some girl into marrying him by being in a play with her or something...

message 2206: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl That guy seriously creeped me out. If I was Violet I would've given him all my trust fund, then seeked refuge in Siberia

message 2207: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope that was Violet, not Sunny. Sunny is only a baby xDD Yeah he tried to trick Violet into marrying him so that he could get the Baudelaire family wealth but failed when Klaus awesomely found a way to stop the fake but also real wedding. Yeah they're weird books but that's what makes them aweshum.

message 2208: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah I was in fourth grade when I read the books so I was young, so I got nightmares with Olaf stalking me and trying to get my allowance and stuff.

message 2209: by Blogger (last edited Jan 23, 2014 04:56PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl I can see that happening. LOlolololololo Dria, That would have DEFINETELY BEEN an underage Marriage

message 2210: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Whoops, slip of the memory. Like I said, I never even read a whole book... It really weirded me out. But I remember how they stopped the wedding- that was pretty smart.

message 2211: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah I had a book crush on Klaus. He was so smart, he studied marriage law and stuff and learned that the marriage doesn't count if the bride signs with her left hand, so Violet signed with her left hand and BAM! Klaus saves the day with his awesomeness.

message 2212: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl oh wow. I don't remember that much. I finished the series about 3 years ago. all I remember was that the 13 book was very bizarre and involved a secret from their parents which I'm still confused on

message 2213: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah the secret was that their parents were in this secret organization. Tbh I don't remember that much stuff either but there were certain parts that I definitely remember with clarity.

I'm pretty sure she signed with her right hand... The law said "right" hand but they decided it meant right, as in correct, and Violet's left handed.

message 2215: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl of course you do

message 2216: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Huh?

message 2217: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh yeah maybe it meant that sorry. Thanks Dria :)

message 2218: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Well, when you only read one part of one book that part kind of sticks with ya.

message 2219: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl oh yeah. okay I gotta go. my dad's glaring at me so i'll have to leave

message 2220: by [deleted user] (new)

¡Adiós amiga! Hasta luego.

message 2221: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Hablas espanol?

message 2222: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol I take a mandatory spanish class, the terms are burned into my brain. No hablas español, my ancestors are Albanian/Macedonian/tiny bit Greek xDD

message 2223: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh wait you asked if I spoke spanish right? Not if I was spanish..Unnecessary info about my ansheshtors right there. Yeah, this is why I'm failing my spanish class.. Lesson learned: don't speak spanish in the future.

message 2224: by Parker (last edited Jan 23, 2014 06:06PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker I'm taking Spanish too... Te gusta leer libros? (I know there should be one of those funny upsode down question marks at the beginning, but my keyboard doesn't work that way.

message 2225: by [deleted user] (new)

¿Te gusta leer libros? My phone can do the upside down questions marks :D That means something like do you like to read books right? If it does mean that then I have hope to pass my español clase.

message 2226: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Si. Me gusta mas leer libros en la biblioteca.

message 2227: by [deleted user] (new)

Ahahhahaaa I know this one! I like to read books in the library >:)

message 2228: by [deleted user] (new)

There is hope.

message 2229: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Voy al centro comercial para ir de compras los viernes.

message 2230: by [deleted user] (new)

I go to the central commercial for the compass on Thursdays. Yeah.... I don't really know that one so..

message 2231: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker I go to the mall in order to go shopping on Thursdays. XD

message 2232: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey now, I at least knew viernes meant Thursday. At first I thought it was Tuesdays lol xD Well it's not like I'm going to use spanish in the future, doesn't matter if I fail it. Failing spanish, phys ed, and science :( I bet you're one of those smarty students Dria.

message 2233: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker I wish. I'm about to lose my straight A's! I'VE HAD AN A STREAK SINCE KINDERGARTEN! AND NOW MY PRE-AP ALGEBRA TEACHER IS GOING TO DESTROY IT!

message 2234: by [deleted user] (new)

I know right? I was awesome during middle school but now in high school, I suck! At least your failing a math class, I'm failing phys ed. Like who the flying rats butt fails a gym class? That's so stupid. But I'm too lazy too exercise that's a lot of work.

message 2235: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker What phys ed? I dance at school. It's pretty hard to fail.

message 2236: by [deleted user] (new)

Physical Education. Like exercising and sports. It's just I'm too frickin lazy to be stretching, that's a lot of work. So basically I'm failing a stretching class because I'm lazy.

message 2237: by [deleted user] (new)

I failed dance in middle school because the boys hands were disgusting and I didn't want to touch it. And when a boy put his hand on my waist it was gross they would smile creepily at me. So I cut dance class and failed.

message 2238: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Wait- how do they grade you? On your performance on checks? Or do they just observe you? In fact, who is they?

message 2239: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Oh, my dance class is the school squad. No boys.

message 2240: by [deleted user] (new)

They grade you on your effort and participation in playing sports and joining in and stuff. Also if you come prepared with sweats and sneakers. They is my gym teachers who varied. I had a lot of gym teachers over the years. They also took points off because I left my hair out and they want all girls with hair past their waist to keep it in a ponytail or bun. So basically I got points off for having too long hair -_-

message 2241: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker You have hair PAST YOUR WAIST?! All girls in my dance class have to have ponytails- it's hard for the ones with really short hair. But HOW LONG IS YOUR HAIR?!

message 2242: by [deleted user] (new)

How lucky. Boys are creepy, this is why I used to be afraid of them. Don't dance with boys.

message 2243: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Don't talk to boys. Scorn boys and play pranks on them. *evil face*

message 2244: by [deleted user] (new)

My hair is -pause for awkward moment- up to my butt.. yeah. Yes I said butt. I had a dream when I was little to be Rapunzel and so far so good. Long hair, check. Blonde hair, check. Green eyes, check. Now I just need to be a bit taller and more factors.

message 2245: by [deleted user] (new)

All boys are creepy perverts. Some are just better at hiding it than others.

message 2246: by [deleted user] (new)

Now I just need to find a prince to marry :D

message 2247: by Parker (last edited Jan 23, 2014 07:00PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker Wow! The longest hair I've seen is waist length. We have to curl our hair sometimes in my dance squad, and hers only stays curly for a sec. Then the weight pulls it straight again. Oh, and good luck with that. I will too, in my dreams.

message 2248: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah well in order to be Rapunzel you've got to have long hair. I haven't cut it in a long time. Btw I know you've got the urge to laugh at my fantasy dream like everyone else does but I assure you my dream will happen one day. And when it does I sure as heck am not gonna invite the people who laughed at me to my tea party. So if you don't laugh, you get invited to my tea party :D Pretty good deal huh?

message 2249: by Parker (new) - rated it 5 stars

Parker I didn't have the urge to laugh! I'm too crazy of a fangirl and a fantasy believertolaugh at anything of the sort. I have a whole collection of RotBTD pictures.

message 2250: by [deleted user] (new)

Not really into the whole Disney ships and the RotBTD although I do think it's interesting. I just read books when I was little about Rapunzel and read about long hair and decided I wanted to be like her. Imma be Rapunzel sooooon and find me a prince :D
Welps that's enough for today I gotta go sleep. Buenos Noches!
