What Are You Currently Reading? (doesn't have to be an Aussie book)
I am really enjoying Elizabeth is Missing, but I can see that not everyone would. I certainly won't be passing it on to Mum of one of my book club friends: a bit too close to home....
Finally finished The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. Loved all 1007 pages of it and have already bought the sequel. Review to follow.

I liked that one . I am currently reading Touch by the same author.

Ace wrote: "Listening to The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North and enjoying it so far."I liked that one as well. I love those kinds of stories. Phrynne, I'm curious to see how you rate Touch. And I have to check out her other name :)
Phrynne wrote: "Ace wrote: "Listening to The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North and enjoying it so far."I liked that one . I am currently reading [book:Touch|223..."
Yes Phrynne I was looking for an author under 30 to read, it was really confusing trying to work out the date of birth of an author who has about 3 names !! I'm only a 5th of the way through this one, so I'll add more TBRs from her other 'selves' later :)
Carolyn wrote: "Finally finished The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. Loved all 1007 pages of it and have already bought the sequel. Review to follow."I'm dreading finally getting to this one, it's so big D:

Good to know Sarah, although I am a tad confused, so hopefully the penny will drop soon and I can stop frowning!
Brenda wrote: "Carolyn wrote: "Finally finished The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. Loved all 1007 pages of it and have already bought the sequel. Review to follow."Congratulati..."
LOL! It was very easy to read and become emerged in the story.
I also managed to finish my paperback for the week The Murder Bag and might get my second dystopian A Canticle for Leibowitz finished today.
Just in time to start the March/Autumn challenges!

Just so you know what you are getting into Liam, I only found out after reading it that there are 10 volumes planned (I thought it was going to be a trilogy!).
Ten books? And the first is 1000 pages? Oh no. I have to weigh that against it being Brandon Sanderson...
Don't worry about its length Sarah and Liam. It is worth every single beautiful page. I will be amazed if he ever gets ten written. He is a prolific writer but he tends to go off onto other projects all the time.
Brenda, we differ again! I absolutely loved Elizabeth is Missing, laughed so much, choked up a few times, 5★s my review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Just finished reading Tell the Truth by Katherine Howell - spent all afternoon and evening until 9pm reading it - a 5 star read :)Next up to mark as currently reading is Lost and Found by Brooke Davis - can't actually read it until tomorrow as is earmarked for the Autumn challenge but have put the bookmark into page 1 ready. Probably be another reading marathon tomorrow as is due back at the library on Tuesday and is not renewable as someone else has requested it.

Oh I hope you love Lost and Found as much as I did Sally, I thought it was wonderful! :)
Sally906 wrote: "Well it's all your fault I borrowed it Jools :)"Lol! Then I know you WILL enjoy it ;D look forward to your reaction.
Finally started The Mirror Empire, which I bought months ago. 100 pages in, things are looking good.
I'm about two thirds of the way through The Witches of Eastwick. I am enjoying his writing style and the humour but reserving judgement overall as I'm not really sure where the story is going.
Liam wrote: "Finally started The Mirror Empire, which I bought months ago. 100 pages in, things are looking good."Oh, I'm so jealous! I just bought that but I haven't gotten to it yet.
Started reading Addition this morning for the March challenge. Is it possible that Grace Vandenberg is the original Don Tillman?!?
Andrea wrote: "Started reading Addition this morning for the March challenge. Is it possible that Grace Vandenberg is the original Don Tillman?!?"This sounds good. I think it will be a new addition to my TBR list
Finished The Last of the Duchess: The Strange and Sinister Story of the Final Years of Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor by Caroline BlackwoodMy review is at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished The Lover by Marguerite DurasMy short review is at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Andrea wrote: "Started reading Addition this morning for the March challenge. Is it possible that Grace Vandenberg is the original Don Tillman?!?"No Grace had OCD and Don is on the Asperger's spectrum, but imagine if they met!
Here is my review for The Kill Room: The Lincoln Rhyme Series by Jeffery Deaver which I finished last night. 4★s

Phrynne wrote: "Don't worry about its length Sarah and Liam. It is worth every single beautiful page. I will be amazed if he ever gets ten written. Thanks to Phrynne for recommending them in the first place :-)
And hey, if I could make it through all 15 books of the Wheel of Time series (including the prequel) by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, we can all tackle ten books of The Stormlight Archive, I'm sure :-) I do have a secret for getting through long books, though, I must admit ... *whispers* audiobooks. I get more chance to listen than I do to read these days. Plus, I love the fact that the people who narrated the Wheel of Time, Michael Kramer and Kate Reading, narrate The Stormlight Archive, too. Sanderson obviously loves their work :-)
And just think, the time and effort it takes us to read these books is nothing compared to what it costs Sanderson to write them. Yes, I am in awe of the man!

I'm doing the Wheel of Time series on audiobook too but it takes me forever because I only listen for about 40 minutes a day when I am walking my dog. And most of those books are more than 30 hours long!!!

I am about a 1/4 ish of the way through Lost and Found by Brooke Davis. Have to confess not loving it at this stage - but sort of enjoying it. Have met the main chararcters but they haven't all linked up yet.My biggest problem is when the characters speak it is in italics instead of speech quotation marks. For some reason this is throwing me off.
Can't wait to see where the author is going to go with this story though.

I've gone back to The Iron Necklace which I had put aside because I couldn't get into it. Up to page 99. Okay but not overly enamoured yet.
