A Fifty-Year Silence: Love, War, and a Ruined House in France by Miranda Richmond Mouillot.
Is it that one Austin?

Its a good read isn't it Kate? I gave it 5*s

Thanks for the recommendation Julie! :)

Thanks Brenda! I'm so glad someone told me about Goodreads. I'm really enjoying the reviews and recommendations by other members. I've already discovered new authors I love.

Definitely, Brenda! I'll probably start with the rest of the Pandora series then check out the reviews of the others doing the challenge. Hopefully I can get through a few. It's my favourite genre

Think your response was similar to mine Mish. I have already posted my review though. I had no idea when publication date is and when I contacted The Reading Room one other time they said unless it clearly states an embargo date whioch my letter did not, I am free to post the review whenever. That reminds me I need to head over to the reading room.

yes we did have similar views with this book Dale.
Oh and thanks for the info. I received my book from The Reading Room too. So if that's the case, I will type it up tomorrow and post it :)

I'll be leaving mine until closer to publication date which is the beginning of March :)

That's fair enough Brenda. I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts on the book :)

I get the feeling it will be a book on which opinions are divided.

I've only seen the movie Katie. It was just too sad and devastating. I'm not sure if I could read the book but good luck with it :)

Without a doubt Dale :)

Now onto Calling Me Home which a few of my GR friends loved, but am only about 30 pages through in a week so I'm not feeling it. I actually typed in the Jodie Piccoult novel of a similar name, I don't even know the name of the book I'm reading, things can't be good!(Lack of reading time which should hopefully rectify with the last of my kids back to school on Monday..)

Can't wait to see if you enjoy this one Mish, I loooved it.

Also reading

and finally I am reading an ARC (although it is published now)

Lol okay. However, I require a book recommendation, one you found difficult to put down and under 400 pages (all mine of late have been over 400 pages) to get me out of the slump!
