Could well be. I think I was intrigued mostly by the "cult," as you say, "puzzles," and failed to pay much attention to Brown's stylistic idiosyncrasies. I'd thought you were suggesting that people were picking up the book just to deride Brown, though, for whatever reason, and -- since there's so much derision-worthy "literature" out there -- I couldn't figure out why Brown would be a particularly egregious example. He writes page-turners devoid of sparkly vampires. That, in itself, ought to earn him at least a modicum of respect. :)

Ha, ha Liam with that article. I'm with Brenda and Kathryn. One book was enough. But hey, he's laughing all the way to the bank!

Thanks. That was helpful. I'd been wondering whether to try to secure a copy.

Enjoy:) Actually, that one should be listed under your suspense/mystery category:)

The Light Between Oceans is a brilliant book Sharon! You can use it for your June monthly challenge;)

You don't need a list for the monthly ones Sharon, the book you're reading is a qualifying book for the month's challenge, so you can just read it, and comment of the fact that you did!! http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

No problem Sharon!

I picked up this one and another on my to read list the other day at the library. Only trouble is about six other library books waiting to be read first. Of course I may not read them all or may just cheat a read out of order.

Love this series. It's the sister series of The Moon Dwellers, both series are merging together, I'm so excited!

That's one of the reasons I dislike audio books Kathryn...that and the fact that I can read faster than they talk!! It's a shame to be spoiled by a poor narrator, when Frantic is brilliant!

But since I haven't started The Forgotten Garden I'm not sure what to do about it!!

While ever I still I have eyes to read I can't see me ever listening to a book.
Currently have bypassed a few others on the coffee table due back at library earlier to get to The Light Between OceansThat will be my June read in Aussie Author challenge.

Happy weekend everyone.

I really enjoyed The House on Burra Burra Lane by Jennie Jones Lily! I haven't read Lost though I've enjoyed others by Michael Robotham. Big Girls Do It Better I haven't heard of....enjoy your reading Lily, and your weekend:)

I listen to music when in the car. Can't sing along to an audiobook and since I walk with my husband we usually chat.

Not from either challenge. Just a little 'side' read.

I will also soon be starting

Part of Winter challenge. I'm not sure I'll like this one; the three main character's are rich, beautiful and have it all blah, blah. It didn't sound like that from the reviews.
I'm only at Pg 80 so hoping the author completely surprises me and I really enjoy it by the finish...
