Thanks for letting us know, Hina. We did just get a ruling...no. So, good thing. ☺

message 302: by Ellinor (new)

Ellinor (1001andmore) I have a question for category #1 (Behind Enemy lines): I know that more than one person can read the same book for this category. But can we also "steal" the book from the same person? I just finished Inferno and one of my team members also has. I checked the other teams shelves and so far have found it once. Do I now have to go through more shelves until I find it again or is once enough?

message 303: by Vi (new)

Vi | 1758 comments Ellinor, yes you both can steal the same book from that person as long as the person read that book before/on the same day as you.

message 304: by Ellinor (new)

Ellinor (1001andmore) Thanks! I need to remind myself of the dates.

Viscountess Viridian (viscountessviridian) | 178 comments Would like approval for Pewter Blue or Wild Blue Yonder:
The Woman in Black by Susan Hill I'm Not Crazy, I'm Just Not You The Real Meaning of the Sixteen Personality Types by Roger R. Pearman

message 323: by Vicky (last edited Jun 16, 2013 05:55PM) (new)

Vicky (librovert) | 3137 comments On the 2003 edition of Still Life With Murder, the series on the front cover says "A Guilded Age Mystery." It looks like the series was rebranded for a 2013 release and the new edition (Still Life With Murder) says "First of the Nell Sweeney Historical Mysteries." This is the case for all 6 books in the series. The series on Goodreads is titled Nell Sweeney Historical Mysteries.

For a spell-it-out challenge, would either one be acceptable? Or should we go by either the edition read or the series as it appears on Goodreads?

Viscountess Viridian (viscountessviridian) | 178 comments I thought I remembered seeing a post about using members for Behind Enemy Lines even if they are holding for right now since they were there before the challenge started? I can't find that post again, can someone help.

There is a member of Forest Green who has read a book that was on Nancy's shelf from Mango Tango, but she is no longer active on that team. I need to know if it still OK to use that book in this category or not. Not a big deal if not, it will fit in other categories.

Yes, your ladyship, your Team may use a book from any member on the "holding" Team or who is "below the line" on the SU.

Ezin asked about that and it was ruled for Magenta Mix-up. I'll have to check if it works for TMP, too.
