That is fine, Phyllis. It is just more people can see them here. If you want to re-post here, that is fine, too! Do you know how to "edit" and "copy"?

Mini-Challenge #6: Oh no, I like it!
For me, this was Harry Potter. I didn't read them as I just thought the hype was all a bit much, and hey, they are children's books! So it wasn't until the 5th book was just about to be published that I picked it up and that was only because I was on holidays and had read all my books and this was staring at me from the holiday house bookshelf. So I decided I may aswell give it a go.. Needless to say I finished the first 2 books in 2 days and didn't look back...lol

For me it was Twilight series. I read the first one because a friend of mine made me do it. I didn't like the book. I even mock it and everything, but was stubborn enough to read through the series. Alas, breaking down made me like the story! I should have stopped while I had the chance.
Fifty Shades was read because I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. It made me start reading again after 6 months of not cracking a book open, so, as bad as the book is, it had some merit for me.

If you could be/meet a character from a book, who would you be and why?
Cadet Blue
I would be Ella Varner because then I would have Jack Travis, my favorite romantic hero. A tall, dark, and handsome Texan. **sigh**

Mango Tango
I discovered that I apparently don't read many "flowery" books :) I don't have many with a predominant flower on the cover, but found some that I hope will work:

I had to dig really deep to find covers with flowers!"
I had the same problem, Leslie! Then again, when most of my books are mysteries or thrillers, I guess that kinda makes sense :)

Body: Demon, Eyes: Vampire, Voice: Werewolf
Viscous Hypnotic Howling Beast Demon

Because apparently I accidently deleted my last post

Devil + Faery + Dragon = Magic, fire breathing creature of hell
Mini Challenge #7 - Visit the Garden

Team Tickle Me Pink
Okay, so I was creative for this one but if it doesn't count, I did it the flower cover way too! All from my shelves.

◈ Mini-Challenge #8:The dark side of the moon

Did you know that there are 8 phases of the moon? For this mini-challenge, can you find 4 different covers with different moon phases?

Thanks my friends! I'm feeling down this morning so playing with the books and talking to you guys has helped with that!

Woah, there are Good Read lists for everything!!

Steven - I don't think the moon doesn't need to be prominent on the book. It could be in the background. At least that is my plan for when I post my books..........

Nope, only if the task specifies that it has to be your shelf. Most of them are just from random searches.

Man, he's so old! :p

Yep, our favorite cupcake eater is right :)

One of my favorite flowers, plus cake!

Portuguese mother's day was yesterday. But we didn't have any cake.
Now I want some cake too. Or ice cream. A rich vanilla & caramel & chocolate & nuts ice cream.
Something like this:

Now I want a Peanut Buster Parfait from the Dairy Queen...to go with my invisible cake, LOL!!!
This group is bad for your waistline, hehehe.

Ah, I guess when I get a few minutes I'll go flower and moon hunting then! X)
Cotton Malone is perfect, just as he is! :)

I am going to the store after work. I shouldn't buy the stuff to make them at home... should I? X)
Peanut Butter desserts sound good right now too. Yum.
Bad calories... bad!

I did decide on my Mother's Day treat, though - pink lemonade cupcakes in Tinkerbell wrappers. Hope they're good, never made them before. 6 more days, I can do it...stay strong, Teresa.

How chivalrous!
And *snort*, at first I read that as "eat a bunch OF you gals"... I thought, "Wow, he's VERY hungry", LOL!!
And now I can't stop giggling over that.
Okay, going to get my cuties and my books gathered up and then off to the library I go!

And for a slight twist: books with moon in the title

I also found some more flowers!
