FL1: Team #3 ~ Three to Get Deadly

I am from Albany NY, just 3 hours south of you! It is also cold here too but not as cold as where you are!
Anyway I will offer to be team captain if nobody else wants to. And I will offer up some team names as soon as I can think of some!

I'm from Plymouth. UK not US. It's quite chilly here, we even had some snow this year.
What about "Three To Get Deadly"?
It's a title from the Stephanie Plum Series, nothing to do with fantasy. I just like how it sounds. I'll think of some more.

Another option maybe - "Triple Crown"
I don't know I am not very good with team names.

I really don't have any ideas for a team name. Three to Get Deadly works for me though if you guys want to go with that. And who ever wants to be team captain can go for it =)
And Jennifer.. I know! And we are also team 3 again! Liz is also on another team with me in another group. Apparently Mr. Random likes to keep me with people I know.

I feel that way too about Mr. Randoms

Ok so I guess I will be team captain and our team name can be "Three to Get Deadly"? Unless anybody else has any other ideas for names.

I'm ready for this game to start. I'm having bingo withdrawals, hoping this helps with that.

I can't wait to get started. Is it the 27th? I'll have to read the rules by then ;-)

Ok ladies I am reserving the next post to keep a running track of our weekly movement so I can easily keep track of where we are each week! I will do invidual post each week to keep track of all our books and reviews. Looking forward to starting this game. I am in Eastern Stadard time so that means I will be drawing at a time to be determind as soon as the game starts! If anybody has questions let me know and I will try and figure it out! :)

Team captains, you may now draw a card and get your team on the board. This week, each team will move on the board. From this week forward, however, in order for your team to move forward, all members must have read, rated and reviewed their book by this time (give or take) next week.![]()

I did our first pick and we got a 10 of hearts! So we move to space #39 - You get a free read so any book that is at least 200 pages long!

I'll read

GR: 358 pages"
I'm listening to that book - it's got a really neat world.

I hear it is good, so if it lives up to what I hear about it it wont take me that long at all.

It was just wanted I needed to read at the moment. I love this series. I am glad I don't have to wait that long for the 3th book. Just 7 months. I like the characters a lot. I still don't know who I what DJ to be with Alex ,Jake or Jean Lafitte. I liked the twist and turns in this book. It had me guessing through out the story. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book

That the next one is right around the corner makes me happy, but I still need to buy this one and with how many books I have recently acquired I can't let myself buy it yet.

If you've thought mermaids were beautiful women with fish tails, you are partially right. The mermaids (and mermen) of Deep Betrayal are kind of like sea vampires, sucking up happy emotions from humans. Deep Betrayal is the sequel to Lies Beneath and in my opinion a much better book. In this book, people are disappearing and are thought to be drownings or victims of a rip tide. Lily and Calder work together to find out who is responsible. There is a nice integration of mermaid poetry and native indian mermaid lore into the narrative.

This is the sequel to the book Leaving Paradise. Overall this series is pretty good. Simone Elkes does a really good job of describing and gives you a good sense of the characters. I really liked this book but I wish it might have ended a little better. It felt it was a little rushed to tie up all the loose ends. Overall really good little series!
